i live in westland michigan and i think the teachers did the right thing by going on strike they work hard put up with alot of  headaches and give their time all year long so they deserve better pay healthcare and smaller class sizes and extra help in the classrooms for kids that  desperatly need it.my son is in the schhol district of wayne westland and he is in schhol now as we speak in westland. bye to all from mary in westland.
