Since I can recall, there has always a recall on Kroger beef.   There seems to be recalls on the Kroger brand prepacked salads-coleslaw, macaroni salad etc.  Consumers we need to find out why Kroger has so many recalls.  Their grapes they are currently selling come from Mexico--isn't that where the FDA was investigating the problem with tomatoes?

Where is Kroger getting their food products from?  Why are their steaks $6.77lb when you can get fresh cut steaks for less?  They are trying to keep up with the superstores by selling grills, lounge chairs & sandals.  Maybe Kroger needs to sell their customers "QUALITY" instead of "QUANTITY"!!!!!!

Then don't shop at KROGER'S.

Geez, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that plan.

Don't like it, don't go there.

I quit shopping Kroger's awhile back; The store seems more concerned with looks & glamour than customer service and quality. I've been on their website & saw that alot of other products they carry are recalled, from medicines to food. I guess alot of other store websites have the same recall list but it seems Kroger is always in the spotlight.

I WAS A FORMER KROGER'S SHOPPER FOR YEARS AND ABOUT 4 MONTHS AGO I STOPPED SHOPPING THERE , NEITHER MY FAMILY OR MYSELF EVER GOT SICK FROM THERE MEAT ,BUT THERE MEAT ALWAYS HAD A ODD COLOR THAT YOU DON'T SEE IN OTHER PLACES. NOW I SHOP AT THE HOLLYWOOD MARKET NEAR MY HOUSE AND ALL THERE MEAT LOOKS NICE AND FRESH , I WAS TALKING TO THIS OLD LADY WHILE WAITING AT THE FRESH MEAT COUNTER AT HOLLYWOOD AND I MENTIONED MY CONCERNS TO HER ABOUT KROGER'S AND SHE SAID SHE SWITCHED FOR THE SAME REASON , AT HOLLYWOOD MKT THERE NO WAY THE MEAT CAN BE OLD BECAUSE THERE SUCH A LINE TO GET MEAT THERE IT GOES SO FAST ITS GOT TO BE FRESH , AT KROGER'S WHO KNOWS IF THERE REPACKING MEAT THAT DON'T SELL SINCE THEY PACKAGE THERE OWN MEAT TO BEGIN WITH , NOW I ONLY GET MEAT FROM A FRESH MEAT COUNTER THAT'S PACKED IN MY PRESENCE AND AT A BETTER PRICE

Kroger changed their meat department a couple of yearsago and they make it hard to find sale items. $6.77 is a really good price for steak and I dont know where you can find them for less? The really good prime steaks are almost $20 a pound.

I don't watch the news anymore but I did buy the meat at kroger and cooked it I didn't know it was making me sick until my husband was also getting sick and when I couldn't move off the sofa he told me he got sick too. so he went online to see what was going on because he had heard something at work. I thought I had the flu but, worse so I don't know. He said that I handled the meat so I got it the worse I still have a package in the freezer and the other is gone. I didn't know something like this could happen what do I do

Can't eat tomatoes can't eat meat, lets start eating the rich, but that would bring about heartburn.........

My past experience w Kroger meats especially their $3 to $4 lb hamburger is that they roll in old meat on the inside and put the fresher red meat on the outside. We i question them on it they said that the brown meat is fresher! Ha what a line of BS! And their prices have jumped up since that bought out all the Farmer Jacks stores too

I never liked Kroger because I felt their prices were always much higher than their competitor (at the time Farmer Jacks or Spartan). I always look closely and see if they have a USDA stamp, or see where the meat was packaged. Unfortunately there are no longer enough USDA inspectors to ensure that standards are met. Always cook meat completely avoiding medium well and rare cooked meats. Always clean up with a anticeptic or bleach product to ensure your kitchen is not a haven for salmonella, also using a sponge to clean is not always the best.

1applepie Kroger was asking that anyone who purchased meat from them specifically on the date of or during the recall, to return it to their store.
