So how many people will get out to vote?  No matter what county you are in there are things to vote for!  If you don't vote in the primary then don't complain when an issue is passed in NOV.  This is your chance to get things off the NOV ballot.

You can spend all the time on the blogs, but if you don't take the time to vote then stop wasting time whining about what you didn't take time to vote for.

Vote for incumbents, research your candidates, forget the mayor of Det & make a difference by getting people in that will get him out!

Well the consumers are in a tizzy again!  The government told us our tomatoes may cause salmonella poisoning.  Well obviously they did not do their jobs.  Now it is the Jalapeno.  Are all our American farmers (one lost 7 mil in his tomato crop)  going to be reimbursed for the COSTLY rumor?  I would like to see this happen-but instead, the US will probably import more tomatoes to keep the comsumer happy.

The tomato industry is a 1.3 billion dollar industry & the US  just lost most of that industry to people not doing their job.   Thanks again for sending more of the US $ out of country to buy their crops!  If we grow our own veggies, the gov may tell us that they are contaminated by the very air we breathe.

What's next?

Since I can recall, there has always a recall on Kroger beef.   There seems to be recalls on the Kroger brand prepacked salads-coleslaw, macaroni salad etc.  Consumers we need to find out why Kroger has so many recalls.  Their grapes they are currently selling come from Mexico--isn't that where the FDA was investigating the problem with tomatoes?

Where is Kroger getting their food products from?  Why are their steaks $6.77lb when you can get fresh cut steaks for less?  They are trying to keep up with the superstores by selling grills, lounge chairs & sandals.  Maybe Kroger needs to sell their customers "QUALITY" instead of "QUANTITY"!!!!!!

This just goes to show you the importance of education in Detroit.  Why worry about kids not having teachers?  There is no bus service to get to school & rapes on the way for kids who parents don't have cars to drive therir kids to school, then again gas prices.  Detroit doesn't provide after school activities unless the parents can pay for it---what ever happened to football, basketball, band & cheerleaders?  The Michigan State Lottery must have an answer for that one.  The kids are on the streets because all of the tax $$ is going to the KWAME defense fund.  Where do Kwame-Litas' kids go to school?  Are Kwame-Litas' kids' teachers being laid off ? (his children are not responsible for his actions)

I guess we should lay off more teachers to compete with all the other folks  in MI who have no jobs.  Let's make MI another statistic. 5th highest in US foreclosure rate--maybe we should turn MI into Ms. Canada favorite gov dumping site.  Raise the DTE bill to residential customers by 15% when we can't even pay the current rates.

Teachers, move on because you are not appreciated.  How can a teacher tell a student, honestly, that there is hope for them in MI?

Hey, is anyone thinking that the reason for DTE & MI is wanting to increase residetial electric bills,  has something to do with the recent annoncement of GM to reopen Pole Town for their new electric car?  Walmart & Kroger couldn't get the state to lower electric rates for businesses!  I guess GM & DTE are going to give our politicians free electricity for life, but then again they can afford it because nobody has cut their pay, benefits, or insurance.

What I find amusing, is the BIG3 knew about electric cars when gas was under $1.00 a gallon.  Now that the government is giving tax breaks to companies going green, the big guys are now jumping on the band wagon.  Yes, I know the cost of fuel is absurd.  All the companies that have left MI, thanks Gov Canadian, have left how many unemployed behind, that are struggling to pay their utilities as it is.

Yes the new plant will generate jobs, but how many unemployed will be hired in probably at minimum wage?    We need to contact our legislators about all these proposals before the state of MI becomes one empty land fill.(At least the state can make $$ getting trash from Canada).

Will we be able to afford to charge our electric cars???  Don't forget that it was announced on Mackinaw that when DTE starts to build their windmills up in the thumb area, that the residential customer will be paying an extra $3.00 a month, to help defray the cost!!

Is DTE hiring?
