per Nelly you nasty!

Because it's HOT IN HUR! ("here" for the non ebonic majors, LOL)

Detroit's sweltering heat should be expected. The summers are getting hotter and hotter and the clothes are getting skankier and skankier - even on the guys.

I'm black and I'm even getting a tan so I can actually say that its dog gone hot out there!

ha ha he!

Instead of taking my bottled water in the house, I left it out in the car, because at work they never have cold enuf water.

That was a good and bad thing because I was able to get cold water, but i had to wait about two hours for it to unfreeze.

Whew it's cold outside and I swear I'm going to choke my children if they lose another pair of gloves or hat. Since December I've bought 3 pair of gloves for each child and two hats per child.

Where the hell does all these go? Who gets them and what do they do with them?

This is as bad as the dryer sock thief!!!!

Yesterday's freezing rain was a picturesque setting for the enjoyment of the art work that God designed for this planet.

Even in our urban life where we get to see so little of nature, we were treated to the beauty that rarely see and forced to appreciate how God is not just in the blessings we see, but in the beauty around us.

I loved looking at how the ice storm coated everything and incased everything in a frame of ice, locking it in place like a statue. The trees, the weeds, the grass were so magical looking I thought I had just stepped into the land of Narnia.

Albeit it was cold and I had forgotten a hat and gloves, I had to stop and appreciate the spirituality of what I was seeing.

Just a rant.

Yesterday, i was trying to look cute in my yellow and I nearly froze my butt off doing that, so this morning, I jumped up with the mindset that I'm not going through that today. I put on not only a long dress (that's been my thing lately to wear ankle length dresses) and some stirrups, two pairs of socks and a thick t-shirt.

I walk outside early in the morning and durn if I thought it was April.

It was way to warm and I'm totally baffled. But like the saying goes, If you want the weather to change in Michigan, just wait ten minutes.

But this is truly scary.
