Although I'm 25, I'm not the healthiest person. So when it comes to health care... I have a big concern.

I called bc/bs today and was told that I couldn't  purchase a plan that would cover mental health coverage [as well as my other serious health issues].  I was only given the option to pay 180 bucks a month for coverage on in-patient bills only... such as hospital visits and it would only pay 2 medical visits a YEAR. this would be a waste of my time and money.

I have been on psychiatric medication since i was 14, been hospitalized uncountable times during the times i was NOT on my psych-meds.
I've been on my mothers insurance and I will no longer have it at the end of the year.
THIS terrifies me.
I need my meds... to me.... THIS is life or death.

~~~~~~~
I do understand the repercussions of having nationalized health care.
Also i see the lack of help that the insurance companies and high price of prescription medication, and where that leaves me.
none of which may be the answer.
~~~~~~~

I was thinking maybe instead of nationalized health care we should have a REFORMED health care system ...

 I AM  a working, tax paying citizen.

Why is it that because i don't work where my mother does, I don't get the same benefits???

I have been looking for a job.. yes ANY job, that will give me the care I need.

~~~~~~~
With that said.... I think we should attack the prescription companies, force them to lower there prices.
AND
Have a REFORMED health care system that offers coverage to your NEEDS ... [ hello! ban the insurance companies from not covering PRE-IGSISTEING medical conditions]
ONLY for those who are American citizens and the working class that pay taxes!!!!
p.s.
anyone hiring that offers good health coverage? I'm very educated and hard working!!! no kids and open schedule!! i have reliable transportation :)
Rather than a nationalised health care , how about a fair and ballanced price for everybody .
Yeah , we are dealing with lying cheating insurance providers .
They don't have to answer to anybody , not even the I.R.S. .
We are also giving medical treatment to millions , yes , millions of illegal aliens that have never paid into anything .
Just the deportation of these illegals alone would make the health care cost drop by as much as 1/3 , making it more affordable to those who actually work for an honest living in this country .
