In a outlandish and thoughtless move Miss. Rep. John Read had co-sponsered a law to ban obese people in his state from eating at resturants.
This is an outrage, regardless of the intention. What is this country coming to when the lawmakers start sponsering bills like this. Isn't enough that the government trys to tell us how to raise our kids, what countries we are allowed to visit, now they want to dictate who can eat where. What's next, we can only drive the cars they say or do only what they say. This country is quickly becoming the new third reicht. I'm not obese nor will I ever be but the point isn't that it is a burden on the medical industry or health issues it is about obeying the government. If the bill stated Blacks or Hispanics couldn't eat at a resturant Read would be thrown out on his own obese arse. The gaul that the lawmakers today have to dictate what should be the behaviors of the populace shows their arrogance, audacity and control issues that demand they be the leaders of what is right and wrong,  yet how many of these lawmakers have been caught (like our Mayor) in the most immoral acts. When these control freaks can get their own lives in order then maybe they will have the ground to stand on but until this unlikely event happens don't dictate to us what you think is right. Collectively what these morons think is right has sent this country to the poor house. How about stop worring about the weight of the citizenship and start worring about our dying economy and the Federal Reserve. Your wasting not only our time but our money as well you facsists.
