Born in Detroit and lived there for 45 years and now live in the suburbs. But Detroit IS MY HEART. I donate time in Detroit Public Schools tutoring children in reading, you can 't go anywhere in life if you can't read the signs :) I am raising 3 children on my own, hard at times....but such a gratifing job !!!! I spend a lot of time in Detroit attending events and supporting the DIA and the Capuchins. I'd like to see Detroit be the jewel it once was, and see more people getting invloved in projects to better the city.I enjoy reading, the TLC channel and the Travel channel too. It's nice to see the world and all of it's wonders.
