Writer's Strike

I just saw a news clip covering the Writer's Strike in Hollywood.  There were a group of writers walking a picket line while carrying signs that read "On Strike."
 

Um, excuse me but...you are WRITERS!  You couldn't come up with something more creative than that?

When your on Strike you want those driving by to know whats up. If they wrote great things, folks would be cracking up there cars reading it as they go by.

I know, I was just commenting on the irony. Still, I think Hollywood writers would have done something more eye-catching and memorable.

I am all for the writers going on strike. As writers, we are not respected when a movie makes millions of dollars. Why shouldn't we be allowed to make the kind of money that a director makes for that same movie?
