For some reason I feel very lethargic. The lack of energy is pretty frustrating and I don't know what to make of it.

Anyone else affected this way by the heat?

Does anyone think we will see much rain from Dean?

Why do people forget that they live in Arizona, then complain about the heat?

God bless your husband! He must keep a close eye on him. When we first moved here I told my kids that AZ is a good place to retire but I don't think they would like working out doors. Tell your husband how much we apprecate the service he does for all of us. Hats off to all who are working for our benefit. We wouldn't be able to live here without their support.

oddly enough he never complains about the heat. I could never do what he does. and, yes he drinks lots of water and gatorade. always wears a hat too.

I love the desert, that's why I moved here. Sure, it gets a little hot during the day but there's something about desert nights I just love. Crazy? Maybe....but in January I'm particularly loving it, family back in Nebraska hates it when I tell them I'm wearing shorts to work......

Justtold44,....just had to have a plumber come to the house myself for a small problem. But I gave him a nice air conditioned master bathroom to work in and offered him some Arizona Iced Tea to boot.....I work outside as well.

Hey knotboy.....do you ever have anything good to say or do you just blog for the intentions of slamming everyone. Yes, we all know we live in Sunny Arizona, but we can still complain about the heat.As I am pretty sure you have done yourself .

As an AZ native, I can complain about the heat if I want. But if someone asks me if I would like to dig my car out of 5 feet of snow, I tell'em he!! no.

Snow is a heck of a lot more fun than heat. I've lived in six different states and would rather be cold than hot. When you're hot, you're hot, but when you're cold, you can always bundle up, enjoy a warm fire, and a good cup of hot cocoa. That's the life! My husband works outside all day in this heat and my hat's off to him and all the others who have to be out there, too.

Oh I didn't say I like the heat, I just don't want to dig my car out of the snow or have to shovel my walkway to get to the sidewalk.
