I just read a blog by Doug. who could not have been more correct. Our checks are nothing more than a bone thrown to us to do just what? shut us up maybe? Like Doug stated, they were "supposed" to stimulate our economy? What will you use it for?
Gas from the middle east?
Food imported from other countries?
clothes and other goods from Asian countries?
and on and on it goes!
So just how much of that money is actually going to stimulate anything AMERICAN!
All the other economies gaining from it are laughing all the way to the bank! Our dollar is falling more and more in value on top of everything else. NEXT THIRD WORLD COUNTRY?
Do you ever wonder? I do everyday. While troops are in the middle east and we keep spending all of our money over there, who's taking care of the home front? NOT!
