Joining Huel Perkins this week were Mildred Gaddis, host of "Inside Detroit" on AM 1200 WCHB, and FOX 2 Investigative Reporter Scott Lewis.

The panel discussed several topics related to Detroit City Council and its approval of a multi-dollar sludge hauling contract. They also commented on the latest developments in the sex and text scandal.

I moved here 9 years ago from PA, and all I can say is I am ashamed to say where I live. I am ashamed that people in these surrounding communities defend these individuals that without thought think only of themselves and not of the people they were elceted to serve. I am proud of the individuals that have the strenght to stand up and speak their feeling and to say what, at least what is on my mind. That is these individuals should be ashamed of themselves and should have at least dignity to step down instead of bringing more shmae on the Detroit area.

I hope and Pray that our young (black) students in school now and who will be future leaders of their own comunities take from these scandels a lesson on what not to do!!!

This week was not such a spirited debate, but it did bring in an interesting assessment of The Mayor's lawyers. The fact that they pick at Kim Worthy rather then the evidence.

On Fanchon Stinger well there is an old saying that fits so well here. "She Got to big for her britches"

I found Mildred Gaddis very prepared for the show and knew what she was talking about and stated the facts. She is far better than some of the people you have had on the show who scream out their feelings with no factual basis.

One of the best assets that this community has is one, Mildred Gaddis. Her critics dislike her due to the truth and honesty she displays when exposing the misdeeds of those that they blindly support. Thing is, if they were to just do what is right, Ms. Gaddis would not have a platform to air their dirty laundry. She is to be applauded for her willingness to be truthful about what is going on instead of all these apologists who want to continuously make excuses for the mayor and everything else that is wrong with Detroit.


Thank you Mildred and keep up the good work. Just know that you have distractors because they are too cowardly to do what is right.

Mildred Gaddis was awesome. What a refreshing personality and point of view in comparisson to monica Conyers. Huel, please have her on more often!
