Wow...it will be one yr. tomorrow that I have been blogging here with you all on Fox 2. It has been alot of fun and I have met some fun folks!

Now if I was REALLY good...like Jana (you are the best my friend!) or some others I would attach photos but I am not! lol....but I have had some good times like a trip to the zoo....and a western trivia night.... and a valentines dance....and a couple of visits to the Eagles to see Tommy and some fun times at Bread co. in South county....OH Yeah and many many walks around south county mall and a few in local parks with Jana and sometime others like Wacky and Michelle. Figgy...or Lance you are a good friend ...what was that saying? But I have met many thru these blogs like Danny and Stephan...some in person....many online....Misty, Jeannette, Harp and Suz....and so many more!

Misty I still would like to see that animal farm of yours! lol...

Thanks to ALL for your friendship and/or conversations.....it has been a fun year!

They want us to believe Prop. A is ALL about the schools....that it is GOOD for us and we as taxpayers wont have to pay a dime.

Guess what? I found it is really for the casinos as they want the 500dollar limit for losing lifted! The rule that states that once someone loses 500 dollars in 2hours they cant gamble anymore. Well the casinos would like that lifted so these people can LOSE more. These people who are probably already in trouble for the most part....and cant afford losing more....will lose more. And who wins? The Casinos....

Yeah they SAY the extra revenue will go to the schools....but will it>? Did it last time? NO!! Can we trust them this time? NO....should we want to get the money for our schools THIS way? I would hope not.....

I just wanted MORE people to be aware....I Know I for one....was going to vote FOR prop. A....until a friend of mine informed me and showed me the proposition....FOR REAL!

Be Aware....vote responsibly.....GO VOTE!

OK....We have done Posts like this before...I have posted ones like this before...and it has always generated some good stuff....

Things are rough right now....Gas prices up....stock market down....bad news in the news.....

Lets start a Nice Streak!.....TODAY....this WEEK.....lets each do something nice for someone else...or several things....little, big or inbetween.... lets start some chain reactions folks!

Then come back here an share!! I know it will feel like you are patting yourself on the back BUT YOU ARE NOT!!

What you ARE doing is sharing so others can be blessed and feel good or be happy by what ea. of us have done and our stories we share!

A man walked into a supermarket with his zipper down. A lady cashier walked up to him and said, 'Your barracks door is open.' 
 
Not a phrase that men normally use, he went on his way looking a bit puzzled. When he was about done shopping, a man came up and said, 'Your fly is open' He zipped up and finished his shopping. At the checkout, he  intentionally got in the line where the lady was that told him about his 'barracks door .' 
 
He was planning to have a little fun with her; so when he reached the counter he said, 'When you saw my barracks door open, did you see a soldier standing in there at attention?' 
 
The lady (naturally smarter than the man) thought for a moment and said,  'No, no I didn't. All I saw was a disabled veteran sitting on a couple  of old duffel bags'

Hey ALL.....

My Dad is having open heart surgery on wed....7/16th. I would appreciate you all keeping him in your prayers. He lives in Arizona and I am flying out there on tuesday.

The interesting thing is ....his open heart surgery is being done with Robotic arms and the are not opening his chest! Crazy huh?

He has 100% occlusion of one artery and that is being bypassed and they are using Robotic arms to do it....isnt it amazing how far we have come in medicine?

Please keep my Dad in your prayers! Thanks!

Wow....I thought it was bad in Mo....I came to visit friends in Iowa....the flooding had been really bad up here. Some areas are totally devastated and closed down. At one point my friends and their area were completely blocked in by the floods and they could not get in or out! Now their homes were ok....but the roads were all flooded. Downtown was a mess....they are cleaning up now....

And I dont mean it isnt that bad in Mo. I know it is....You just dont think (or at least I dont always) about the other places unless you are there....

Anyone else gone and seen the flooding other places?

Did you see or hear about the 6yr old girl saved by the quick thinking of her Dad? He lost his life but saved hers. That is the link above to the news clip....

It is just so sad and it broke my heart. Sounds like maybe the Dad had led a rougher life before but had been straight for at least a year. They didnt even care that there was an innocent child on that porch...on his lap!

I am personally glad that Lori Drew has to deal with the consequences of what she did. I think the others involved should too....but she was the supposed "adult!"

Did you all read, see or hear there is going to be a new reality show starting soon? A Farmer Youngen" (and a pretty nice looking one)...is looking for a wife! One that understands being married to a farmer ......

He is actually from Mo.....and so is his farm! Did you see the right up? He is the main feature of the program and they have some very nice looking young ladies ....much like the other bachelor shows.....

It was filmed at the farm down the road from his real farm....but his real family and friends are all on the show....

Are you going to watch it? I dont think I would have before reading this article.....but now reading it, my curiosity is up...so maybe.....what do you all think ? have you heard of this?

LOL....curious? I was reading in the post how some are NOT paying the fines or the tickets they are getting when they run the red lights at intersections........

NO....not the ones they get from the nice policeman that so kindly pulled you over....but from those new camera's they have put up!

Apparently , presently they arent or may not stand up in court....so many lawyers are telling their clients...just throw them in the trash!

Apparently SOME of the camera's only take a pic. of the license plate which then doesnt prove YOU are the one who was driving.....and the camera's that do ? Folks are covering their faces as they drive thru the light!

So.....what would you do? (or maybe for some of you who have been caught.....what have you done...) with that ticket?

OK...we had an absolutely BEAUTIFUL day!!...it is 74 right now! ....it was sunny and wonderful!!  YEAH!! I love the sun and I love warm weather....

SO....I went to suson park in south county for a nice walk with some friends this morning. Then came home and sat out on my patio with my lunch....sat some more...did some laundry....sat some more....read a book (outside of course)....took a nap (again outside!)....... I was outside pretty much ALL day and LOVED IT!!

What did YOU do with YOUR beautiful day ( I hear some lawn mowers going!)?

Then the proceeded to beat her senseless while they filmed it? Something she said on myspace that they took offense to.....

You watch as 1 girl is beating on her and slapping her....then she tries to leave and another gets her at the door. Then you see more on her beating on her on the couch, while someone is taping the whole thing.

And I guess they thougt this was all ok and they would be able to post the video on youtube ....no problem....

Another sign of todays times? What do you all think........

I want to say that first of all....I firmly , 100% ...believe in them and feel everyone should have one.....BUT....

Just to let you know....unless your family....your children, your wife....those involved with making THOSE decsions FOR you...are on the same page....it may not happen!

I could tell you of several instances where there is an advanced directive (or living will) is in place....but the patient is unresponsive and cant say anything himself....and the family says....DO WHATEVER YOU HAVE TO....keep him/her alive.

Now sometimes its the Dr's fault in the ER....who ASKS the family member....We need to put them on a ventilator or do this to save them....do you want us to do this? Sometimes its the families coming in screaming....save them.

What I am telling you all...is MAKE sure your loved ones KNOW what you want and WILL stick to it!....B/C who will sue after the patient dies and the ER Doc hasnt done everything? Those family members..... So the Dr's listen to them.....

One more thing....living will....advance directive....it is about healthcare directives. Has NOTHING to do with who in the family gets what after you are gone! Have a great day all!
