Some members of City Council stupid or what

The council members can't seem to make up their mind.  What in the world are they doing.  One minute they are selling the tunnel and the next we are not.  This is another embarassing moment for Detroit.  Are some of the members of  the council being paid off by Kilpatrick or what?

Yeah, looks like for Barbara Rose it was a chicken dinner and two sides from Southern Fires. WOW!!!!! Is this what council decisions are made on...not on substance, not on pros or cons of selling the tunnel, but her printed words 'he could sell ice to a Eskimo'...'he can just hypnotize you when you talk to him'. Doesn't that sound like some silly school girl who was noticed by a boy for the first time??? She is out of her hot flashing, tiara wearing, reprobate mind!!!

Well, we know atleast two of them are. All he had to do is give them a plate of food and they changed their minds. That makes three that woun't get my vote.

PessimisticOptimistic, did she actually say that? That comment confirms two things, Barbara along with Martha and Monica Conyers of course are the weak links, and they got to go. Two Kwame Kilpatric is a real con man. Talking about pathetic.

Yep, check out "detnews.com". I was horrified that first, she would be crazy enough to quote such to the media, and second, that KK is shown on video kissing her ring before a council meeting after his "cajoling" her.

I'm still wondering if there is something unethical or a conflict of interest in this simply because KK's purpose for courting her was to get her to change her vote. I believe the city has just been sold out for a chicken dinner and two sides. Hopefully Rose-Collins got some dessert from her hypnotist. Then she talks Reeves into changing her vote too???? This is sooooooooo embarassing - wonder what Bill Cosby has to say about this leadership...which is only as good as the lack of common sense and moral values he charges parents with not having.

Wow, It appears that she is allowing her personal relationship with Kwame to interfer with her professional decision making for over 800,000 people in our city. I agree if that's not a conflict of interest then what is?

kk probably offer them a percentage of the millions that he will be getting for the sale. you can't tell me that money isn't going to be spent on kk and friends first.!!!!!!!!!!

PessimisticOptimistic, Can I call you PO? You took the words right out of my mouth. What is wrong with her. She is out of her mind. They need to commit her or retire her. How could they let her continue to serve the people supposedly and soon as Kwame smile she melts like butter and will vote for his favor at a drop of the hat. Is it just us that see this or Is the whole DAMN city going crazy? The need to put that old mare down.

Anybody that will sit during city council sessions with a tiara on is disturbing to me. Sad part was if you watch the interview she was just as giggly as schoolgirl with a crush.

The council and the mayor are all crooks and as for conyers, she is in bed with the mayor, you can have the whole mess, DETROIT is a mess, and there are all robbing us blind . its time to tell detroit, to become its own state and leave Michigan , we would save billions weekly. welfare would be cut by millions for michigan. and we could get rid of the thugs and bums.
