Well it's quite apparent to me that most people don't share my views on Kwame and the media. But I still believe that the media has an undue influence on the debate and that they use a number of tactics in order to shape the news and form opinions about the topics that they cover sometimes. Back to Kwame, it is no doubt that he has given the city a black eye, by his reprehensible behavoir. But to try and connect him to the murder of T. Grenn is ludicrious. The media has tryed for over five years? (dead horse), to connect the dots but so far they have not suceeded. What does it take for them to give up on a story? This potratyal of the possible connections Kwame has to T. Green is motivated by a ratings grab and that's all. Futhermore, where is the outrage from the citizens about the amount of money awarded to these officers, and their attorney. Kwame was wrong to fire these officers So it's ok to make them millionaries along with their attorney, I don't think so. Nevermind the fact that the jury was not a cross section of the members of our community, hello! People are complaning about the money the tax payers like you and I have to pay, but don't question the size of the award . Yes they officers deserve some compensation for losing rtheir jobs and having ttheir reputations bemirsched , but not the amount that they received. With all the problems we have in Detroit ,from teenage pregancy, murders, drugs, unemployment (youths and adults), the media is missing in action. Rudenke,I really see why, he is so successful with decieving his constituency (you are an enabler) This is man is not in jail as he most powerful megalomaniacs are not. Most murderers don't go to jail, stop watching tv. Millions of people commit crimes everday and never get caught. Acutally, I have a friend that is a judge and he often says only the stupid criminals get caught. I never said Kwame was stupid, just corrupt, lacking in morals, ethics, character and integrity look up the definitions. I dont think that he personally killed either young lady I do think he is responsible. Just like he denied the party it is comming out. As far as the judgment I have no problem with the amount awarded. Why do you take issue with the jury they did their job and they would not had to award anything if he had not started this whole debacle. Let us not mention the number still pales in comparison to the $45m that his friend has received in illegal bids. Oh I know we should not believe the txts that were printed in the paper, it is the medias fault for printing them. Dont you see it ends,and begins with the greed, ego, and omnipotence of Kwame Malik Kilpatrick. If this man had not had the affair, abused his power and fired them FOR DOING THEIR JOBS. I can not put a price on these officers dignity and professional reputation and the disgrace for their families. He is not even man enough to face his mistakes he could have admitted the affair, the party, politicians do it everday (unfortunately) no one cares.
