Biden was impressive !!!
During the Vice Presidential Debate he stayed on track, focussed and (metaphorically) held Palin's "feet to the fire".
The debates proved to be a wonderful platform to showcase (both) vice-presidential hopefuls.
Great Debate !! May the best man win the election !!

McCain is the only POW that was Brain-washed after capture.
He is so out of touch with reality (the everyday reality of the average American Citizen).
In the words of Barak Obama:
______"He just doesn't get it"_______

I hope Christine Beatty will have a fair trial or a reasonable plea deal. I know some people feel sorry for her (she's a single parent who is unemployed, blah, blah, blah)!!
If Pergury and Obstruction of Justice is a crime (which evidently it is) justice should be applied fairly and if that means jail time she should go to jail just like any other citizen who commits the same crime.
If she does not do (any) jail time - no one should !!!
Fair is Fair !!!

Did anyone notice how Monica Conyers changed the subject when she was asked if she received any money from that "Synagro Sludge Deal" and didn't give Huel Perkins a "straight" answer to his "direct" question ?
If she had nothing to do with it then Why Not Say So !!
Maybe that was her way of Pleading the Fifth?
Trust me, there's more to come - Detroit may need a new City Council President soon !!

Kuame think's he's slick (well he is) but I saw how he tried to make that crack about Govenor Granholm having her own personal or political motives when he made his "I'm sorry speech" to the public after pleading Guilty to 2 felony counts. I respect Govenor Granholm for taking a stand and holding the removal hearings necessary to force Kwame out of office. Obviously she didn't want to get involved but when the Detroit City Council "pressed" the issue she had to do what she had to do because the future progess of the City of Detroit was in jeopardy.
Kwame Kilpatrick is an amazing actor and is very convincing with "much game".
These hearings persuaded Kwame to finally make his Guilty plea. This may have never happened if Govenor Granholm had not held these hearings. Kwame would still be playing "Chess" with his legal maneuvering and the Mayoral Mess drama would still be playing out in the media.
Kwame is not really sorry for what he did because if he were he would have stopped the madness a long time ago. Kwame was sorry he got caught and if he had not pleaded guilty when he did he would have run the risk of receiving more jail time if this issue was played out in court with a jury.
An innocent man does not plead Guilty !!!!!

As we all anticipate the removal of Kwame Kilpatrick from the office of Mayor of the City of Detroit (I shiver) as I contemplate the union of Conyers and Cockrell running the City of Detroit.
I anticipate a constant "Tug of War" between the two of them as they drag the affairs of the city along in the mist of their personal conflict and dislike of each other. I can't imagine a more unlikely pair running th city of Detroit but this is the fate of the City - going from one drama to another - will it ever end?
Hopefully the city will survive until the next Mayoral Election.

Apparently McCain chose Phalin as his Vice President to appeal to the "Women" who were backing Hillary Clinton.
I (as a woman) am soooo sick of being manipulate by MEN! especially polititians. Does McCain think we women are FOOLS and can't see past this desperate polical attempt to win Votes ?
Surprise Mr. McCain this is not the Dark Ages !!
We women are smarter than that !!

The figure that represents the court system shows a blindfold over the eyes of the figure to represent the fact that Justice is (or should be) blind in the determination of guilt or innocence. Kilpatrick has had the good fortune and ability to hire and dismiss a variety of attorneys as needed to "make his case" more effective. He says he doesn't want to do jail time (but who does ?) - the fact remains that if you do the crime by law you should do the time. If "Joe Six pack" would get jail time and have to do restitution under the same or similar conditions then Kuame Kilpatrick should not be allowed to be treated differently than the "average joe" guilty of the same or similar offenses.

Apparently Mayor Kilpatrick has "No time" for City Business.
I thought he was going to "be about running the City of Detroit" so I've heard again, and again, and again. Now the Cobo Hall expansion is on hold, City workers are being laid off, what else is lacking in city business that needs attending to. You don't hear anything in the news any more about "City Business" and positive progress being accomplished in caring for the needs of the City of Detroit. Mayor Kilpatrick (in reality) does not have time to tend to the business of the City. All of his attention needs to be focused on his mounting legal issues and "Staying out of Jail".
He has so many personal issues on his plate it's ridiculous !!
He says he loves the City of Detroit. Then why won't he resign and allow someone else to handle the business of the City and help move the City of Detroit into a more positive and prosperous future.
The only person that Kuame seems to love and is looking out for is: Kuame !!!
