Some facts for your perusal.
1. John McCain was one of the Keating Five in the Savings and Loans scandal in the late eighties. early nineties. He was cleared of wrong doing only because those doing the investigating decided that his involvement was minimal. Still it's a relevant point to bring up.
2. Sarah Palin accepted the money for the "bridge to nowhere". She campaigned for that money only until it became clear that there was an ethics problem with it. It was only when she might have gotten in trouble had it continued that she turned against the idea and Sen. Ted Stevens.
3. John McCain promised the American people that he would run the most honorable campaign ever. In point of fact he's run one of the sleaziest campaigns in U.S. history.
4. During the primary season conservative talking heads, like Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter routinely talked about Barak Obama and his past associates. They didn't talk about the associates of any of the other Democratic candidates. No mention was made of Watergate or the old Clinton associates. Not only that but several of them used a thinly veiled attempt at outright racism to try and get people to vote against Obama.
5. During the primary season, while the above was going on, Fox News (read Fixed Noise) actively stumped for Hillary Clinton. In fact the same talking heads (Hannity, Coulter, Limbaugh, etc) ALL said that if McCain was the Republican Nominee they wouldn't support him. As soon as McCain became the nominee their tune suddenly changed. Out of the blue they named McCain a true, blue conservative when for years they said that he was anything but.
6. Using McCain's own standard he's voted to raise taxes on people making 42,000 dollars a year 477 times.
Just a few things I thought you should all be aware of.
May the Lord bless you and may the Lord keep you, may He make His face to shine upon you. Amen and amen
