It seems there is a way that you can set your posts so no one can comment. All that makes this is a soapbox or pulpit where someone can spew any radical or close-minded ideas without any retaliation or an alternate view. That's a hell of a way to deceive yourself into thinking your words are divinely inspired as you preach down to the masses Linda-b.

Calm down , she's a new B . Give her a chance to se how things work on these blogs .
Linda , check your settings , and think about what you are setting .
Welcome to the blogs . This is a total freedom of speech format . You know , what makes America different , or , at least , used to make us diferent .
You will get hit hard for deleting other people's posts' , as well as not letting them post comments on your blog .
Browse around and , you'll get the idea .

Jax, it's easy, but follow the lead of Shock.

Go up to the very top of the screen in which is says "welcome jax", and you see my blog/boards/sign out (it's at the very, very top of this screen)

Click onto my blogs, click onto settings, and you will see a place where you can click to disable blogs or simply make you see them before they hit the airwaves, (so to speak)

It's pure satanic (and we know) garbage that someone has to ridicule to the point of down right harassment (we're masters of this), but it's more, it's disrectful to a blogger when someone has to make it dirty, vulgar and cynical to the point you want to delete it.

Hang in there, and you will see that most bloggers will come to your rescue.....
And then soon, you'll be making aggravating posts about LONGSNOT

She had comments enabled when she first posted the blog about McDonald's. I don't know what kind of responses she got (I never looked), but she turned them off.

Just one more blogger that doesn't have the intestinal fortitude to defend their views.

Oh OK, I'll hold my horses. I was ticked off because some her post are pretty controversial and need a reply on a public forum.

Or then again I could take this advantage, change my name, turn off all comments and write the Jax Manifesto for a new and improved America. Let y'all have it..

I probably set it to check comments before they were posted to make sure there was no vulgarity. But I really love the dirty comments to my post I've received from you all that are forwarded to my email. I am an ordained Minister and wanted to make sure there was no smut. Thanks for the welcome.

It doesn't bother me what you say. It truly doesn't. I actually have a grin. I never put the post to get replies from the people here. And my comment has everything to do wih what you wrote. Don't bother writing me because I won't comment. I have better things to do than respond to a man that so bored with his life that he "tries" to ruffle my feathers. Besides being on the take would require I had something to gain. Huh, yeah, I guess that makes sense.

I've lived in and around Detroit most of my life. For many years I worked in steel trades that were involved in automobile manufacture. I changed careers at 35 and received a degree in Electronics Engineering which evolved into broadcast engineering. Do to a stoke and spinal problems I am now disabled and am working at becoming the worlds slowest typist. My mind is still clear though and as I've read I've noticed many of yours are as well.
