This is such bulls--t. I Can almost promise you, 90 percent of blacks are voting for obama completely based on his race. Oh wait he represents change.  Or maybe it's his socialized health care hmmm, good idea, I am a recent college graduate that has busted my BLEEP to get a good job and I earn the health care i receive now. I dont care one bit about someone who has not worked hard in there life to get what they have. Also talk to a few people from canada, and ask them how great their health care is. I have done this with quite a few and they hate it. The hospitals and doctors are terrible. Lets get smart america and vote on the issues not the race. Im sick of this!

Black people always vote 90% Democrat; this time the candidate just happens to be Black.

Duh.

Black people will vote ofr Obama because of his race only. Ask any of them about his issues and what he plans to bring to the white house and they can't answer that. Look what they voted in as Mayor of Detroit--Kwame. I'm a Democrat but I'm voting Republican. Obama and his wife always look to arrogant. She not what I call a First Lady. Do we call him President Hussein Obama!?

Dear Ibanez901. Food for thought. Polls Oct. 17 2007.Hillary Clinton vs. Barack Obama. Overall : Clinton: 57% Obama 33%. , among African American females, 68 % favored Hillary; 25 % favored Obama. Among African American Males: 42% H. Clinton; 46% B. Obama. Among European American Democrats 49 % H Clinton; 18 % B. Obama. 67% of African American Deomocrats would support whomever won nomination. Among European American Democrats 45% would support party choice. The numbers among African American Super Delegates was similiar, with the13 Congressional Black Caucus members supporting Clinton. If anything, these numbers show that the only division among African Americans was based on gender and not race. Hillary originally held a 26 % lead over Obama among African American Female Democrats. Whereas , Obama held a small lead among African American Males. Throughout the primary the numbers dispell the myth that African Americans only support Obama because he is MULTI-racial (African-American). African Americans have voted for candidates of all races since the RIGHT TO VOTE was regained in the Voting Rights act of 1965. Further, why is it no suprise that 49% of European American Voters originally supported Hillary and only 18% favored Obama?

DEMOCRATIC EXIT POLLS: Democratic Primary Exit Polls, Suggested that racism was a factor in the vote. Obama would have had as much as 6% pts. higher , if there were no white racial prejudice. Further, just listen to the comments on the Fox 2 Blogs. How many times have you heard people say they wouldn't vote for Obama because of race? Unfortunately, too many times. On the other hand> How many times have you heard people say they wouldn't vote for McCain because of his race? Seldom, if ever. I agree with your plea, to be guided by the issues and not race, but I repectfully, disagree with your theory.

To Paczki67...... Its interesting that you can speak for black people........Paczki67. I just wonder what do you think of the 44 percent of the blacks who didnt vote for Kwame. Obviously your bigotry clouds any sane judgement, and makes any argument you make irrelevant. If you dont like Obama's policies, or his position on anything, or if you deem him untrustworthy, unqualified, etc, thats fine because a lot of people feel that way about McCain, but what do you do? You use his middle name to try to make a POINT, like theres something wrong with having a name that isnt an american name. If you search your roots back far enough, you will find that your distant relatives came from somewhere else, Im going to assume eastern Europe. I'll bet you their names were not Joe, John, or Kevin. Then you insult an entire race, like you are the only one who can make an educated and informed vote. Blacks have traditionally voted Democratic, and if you look in certain regions of the country, like the south, most southern states have traditionally voted republican. You can break these trends down by age group, gender, other ethnic groups, and states. Now that I have educated a bigot, I"ll leave you with this wise saying. [ A MIND IS A TERRIBLE THING TO WASTE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU DONT HAVE MUCH OF ONE TO BEGIN WITH]........Go back to the time capsule you climbed out of, America has moved on, we dont need any more idiots like you Paczki67

MaryGrove You make some good points however, unfortuantly your points are made with POLLS. Polls are the biggest joke in the world. Next to the 2 party system.

I'll admit his race and being muslim has weighed in on how I plan to vote. His disrespect to the American flag, not having his hand on his heart during the Pledge of Allegiance & not wearing the American flag pin in the beginning is not who I want in the White House. Also his wife's comment about for the first time she's finally proud to be an American.

I watched the debate and it proved to me that without a teleprompter, Obama gets flustered and repeats himself. McCain shows he has the experience to be the next president.

Paczki67,

You explained your Whole reasoning and motivation behind your reply by saying his Race weighed in how you planned to vote. Incase your Unaware. Its called Racism.

As always, Its Totally Insane to believe a person can believe a person can be both Christian and Muslim. People will believe anything.

Its Insane to believe that its a Disrespect, By Not wearing The American Flag Pin everyday, As if Every American leaves the house with Flag Pins on their lapels and shirts. If So, McCain didnt wear a Flag Pin for the Debate. Obama did. Guarantee Nothing said about it.

And Most of All!!

Blacks have fought and died for this Country, regardless of Racism.

But, Only a Sick Minded Individual would expect a person who's race of people have been Enslaved, Raped, Hung, Burned, Castraited, Refused the Chance to Vote, Refused the Chance for an Education and Integrated Education.

Not to mention, still facing Daily Racism, to Simply Forget it,Ignore it, or move on and never think about it, or their Ancestors who Suffered. Is just plain Sick.

Germans wouldnt say that to The Jewish People living in Europe. Sure, forget the Holocaust already. Get over it, Be proud to be living in Germany. Its Absurd.

To say that Any Black person or Obama's Wife, should have said she was Always Proud to be an American is Absolutely, Unsympathetic, Ignorant and Insulting.

Here this woman basically said she is Overlooking the Past and Now For the first time she actually feels Proud that White America is Overlooking the past as well by Accepting a Bi-racial Man as a choice

Ibanez. Thank You for raising the undercurrent of racism to the surface. It saddens me that you are so young but have such negative Feelings. On what fact do you base the accusation about Almost the entire African American Voting Community. I utilized the Oct/07 poll to demonstrate that your "promise" on voting trends are contrary to two different polls ;10/07;Democratic Primary exit polls. Although there is a margin of error, that is taken into account. Polls are a valuable(but not infalliable) tool in public opinion research. But I welcome your concern. I just wish there was a trace of optimism(just my opinion).

Actually polls are not a valuable tool. Depending on what poll you look at you will find many errors. Im not racist, but the blacks are trying to make me that way. I can not tell you how many times a week i hear or see someone pulling the race card. Including Mr Obama and his wife. She has pulled it numerous times already in this election. The fact that I base my accusation on is that every single black person i talk to are excited about obama. When i ask why they are voting for him. There is not answer besides change. Its just another example of blacks being racist and if i choose not to vote for obama then im deemed a racist. Thats it, im calling for reperations for whites
