Now Hiring: An energetic, skillful, and intelligent individual is needed for a very important position. Some of the qualifications desired are the ability to lead a city without getting into trouble. Next, little or no association with the city council, especially Monica Conyers. Finally, you can't have any felonies nor use a family and friends plan to develop your staff. So all who want to apply post your resume here.

Its time to end the silence and real detroiters step up to the plate and get this mayor out of here. I remember going to Lansing as a teacher for the Detroit Public Schools in 2002 trying to stop the mayor from starting a group of charter schools in Detroit. I knew back then he was going to be trouble. I watched my family and friends talk about comparing him to Coleman Young and I shook my head. Then one scandal after the next, finally all my friends and family are with me. I still hear people talking about all the great things that Kwame has done for this city but I don't know what they are talking about they must don't come or live in the city. Look at the neighborhoods like Gratiot/ 7mile or Dexter/Chicago, even Rosedale Park don't look as good as it use to look. Where are the police (downtown) or the fire stations (closed), we even have to pay to get our garbage picked up! I can't never remember it being this bad. Then We'll have some say "it was like this when Kwame got in office, it ain't his fault." It been six years! ITS TIME TO END THE SILENCE

I am a college graduate from Wayne State University. I also attended Pershing High School and DPS middle and elementary schools. I have three sons and have lived in Detroit most of my life. I would like to thank all the people who participated in Tuesday's election. It was a historical event that I was glad to be a part of. America has made a major step in world history with this selection for president. Now we can come together as a country, put our disagreements aside, and rebuild this country to the way that it should be! I was also glad that my children witnessed this great event. As it will affect their lives forever. Bryan
