I'd love to take my daughters ages 5 and 3 out to see some fireworks. Where do you suggest that the best fireworks are in Jefferson County or around there? We are located in Dittmer, MO so that is why I'd like to stay in near or in jeffco. Thanks! Is the Fenton having any fireworks?

So my husband and i have booked a room at the Millenium Hotel to have a little "getaway" and pajama party with our girls ages 2 and 4. We thought it would be something fun for them since we don't have the money to do our normal yearly vacation get away. We have never stayed at this hotel so for some of the folks here on the fox stl blogs that might have....Which tower or area in the hotel offers the best views of the riverfront?

My husband and I are interested in building a front porch on our house. The size would be 20X6 with a roof, gutters, shingles.. We would like to made out of either cedar or vinyl. Our first bid was with Thomas Construction. We are thinking about calling the deck and fence store and chesterfield fence and deck. We are just wanting to see what prices should be for the above with a reputable company not a just a contracting person as we don't plan on hiring just a contracting person. We have had very bad experiences with just hiring joe blow. We would also like to get an experiences with the above companies. Thank you in advance....

I know that the prices of food at the ballpark is higher than the sky. We have tickets for tomorrows game. Could anyone fill me in as to what the actual prices of the food is running these days for things like a hot dog, soda, nachos, etc. I'd like to get an idea as far how much money I need.

These children are dying and people are worried about politics here. Give it up already. These children never asked to have cancer or anything else. They just wanted to enjoy their childhood. Now all they are looking for is someone to have a caring heart and help them.

I have lived in Jefferson County all my life (That would be a solid 27 years). I have to say I love it out here. I know it gets a bad rap for being "hoosierville", but I really don't care. I just wanna know why every time a town in Jefferson County is on the news it is referred to as "Jefferson County" instead of what it really may be...Dittmer, Cedar Hill, Barnhart, High Ridge, Hillsboro...I can go on and on. However, when they are talking about St. Louis county or St Charles county....You can better believe they are going to name the town. What gives??? I do think it is quite amusing...In fact, my husband and I laugh every time the news stations do it.
