Well he did it. Obama made history. He is the first American of African decent to make it to the White house.

Though he was not my choice, he will soon be my President for good or bad.

We will just have to wait and see what he does.

To all the young American children of African decent ( i do not use the hyphen as it is a dividing line) you can finally see just like anyone else if you work hard you can be anything you can dream of in America.

Its is far past time for Jessie, Al and others to get the hell out of the way and lets see what Obama can do.

McCain was never my choice to be Prez and it is time to kick all the rino's the hell out of DC and start to rebuild the party of conservitism. We need no Senators tapping their feet in an airport stall or taking kick backs. Its time to Rid the GOP of all these posers!

My final thought goes to Obama. Good luck President Obama and let God and the American way of life guide you. We have with stood many bad times as a country and have come back stonger. We have put men on the moon when no one was even sure how. WE ARE ALL AMERICANS AND WE ALL NEED TO GIVE PRESIDENT ELECT OBAMA THE CHANCE HE WORKED HARD TO WIN.

Disclaimer: the statement above is real, however this does not mean that i will support everything the man wants to do, but I will give him a chance.

Maybe we'll all be lucky if SEEPUTZ strikes his head on the way down, suffers a massive hemorrhage, and is hospitalized the rest of his life in a rubber room that has no TV, radio, newspaper or GOD FORBID, a computer, but an outlet to plug him in for his daily charge?????

Wait, those rooms already filled with blind sheep DEMOCRAPPERS.

WE NEED MORE ROOMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You got it right colt. The man is President Elect and in January he will numero uno in the United States. I went for McCain but that said I will certainly give Obama the respect he won with his office.

Jessie and Al were not in the way, to assume they were is to associate one man with another because of color.

Seeing is believing, but Obama saw it first in his own mind, before he made it our reality.

America has not changed, it has always given people inspired to achieve the opportunity to do so, Obama is just another example, and it has given the entire planet a reason to step back in awe of this nation's continued success despite the odds against us.

Dream on America, believe in yourself, and you will achieve whatever you think you can.

Well, I can appreciate your post colt. However, I have to agree with Earl E in the sense that Al Sharpton & Jesse Jackson were NEVER in Obama's way. They were simply civil rights elements of a past time and place. And I know that ONE of them are FAKE as HELL. At any rate, I don't recall Obama speaking on civil rights for blacks, nor do I remember him promising all blacks 40 acres and a mule. I don't expect him to. I do recall Obama stating, he believes big corps. should not receive tax breaks for out-sourcing american jobs. I also remember Obama is against the war in IRAQ. Now that to me sounds like a MAN, no matter his ethnic race, who is concerned with all of americas children. Black, White or otherwise. I myself, feel emotional because I don't have to explain to my children... "Why there has never been a black president." and secondly, to see blacks and white and every race in between come together. Standing in line for hours, for something they believed in. And last but not least. To hear a man speak so passionately about what we ALL feel needs to be addressed, and not sound like a robot about other issues that aren't so closely relevant(whether we knew it or not). I WANT UNITY. When I die, I won't be going to a black "heaven" nor to heavens' ghetto. I no longer want to live in a white or black america. But AMERICA. The Beautiful. And let's all remember that, Americas crisis wasn't created over night, nor was it any ONE mans foul-up. So don't expect Obama to fix America over night. I am not singling anyone (else) out. Just wanting to put positive vibes out among my bro

I think you all misunderstood my remarks as pre al and jessie.

it is time for them to retire... get out of the way and let people in American see that anyone can do anything they can dream with out yelling race and playing the extortionist

It is true. Obama earned a shot at the presidency. Now it is time to see if he can walk the walk. Will he be a true servant of the american people. Or will he jsut sign every bill pelosi sends his way.

The pit bull will be running the executive branch. I'm afraid Barak might jsut be the spokesman.
