If you were President, what would your plan for economic recovery be? More specifically which issue would you tackle first & foremost?

For at least six months I have went on about getting Oil back on the Commodities market. If we stabilize more or less the cost of Gas and Natural Gas then other prices can then also stabilize. When Oil went hog wild it forced a lot of others prices to have to rise. When cost spiral up we Americans don't buy.

I have to admit I thought this post would let people imagine for a bit & at the same time, see what is most important to others in regards to our mess. I guess not.

I would give a tax free status for any company who employs Americans !
Period !
The problem right noiw is that comp[anies pay a 38% tax .
What does that do ?
It makles them leave !

I would begin to eliminate over spending in government first. Eliminating expense accounts expenditures that are not company related, including gas cards, supposed business lunches/vacations, etc. Alot of people that are well to do will hire some type of business professional, like a lawyer or accountant, and deduct personal trips. All they have to do is visit this place once or twice while they are there, then write it off. I believe in all Americans paying their fair share and if you can afford it, it shouldn't be paid by the taxpayers. Making government accountable to the people instead of the other way around is also a good start. Show where every dollar goes, just as most are expected to be thorough with their taxes. Living on a budget never hurt anyone and splurging affects that. Those in government that feel they don't have to be honest with the people in regards to their business/personal expenditures shouldn't be allowed to serve the country. Wasteful studies like seeing if a mouse likes Swiss or Colby (LOL) should be stopped, using that money to run government instead of satisfying some stupid curiosity. Does anyone remember that million dollar toliet or a hammer that was supposed to have costed hundreds of dollars? I want to know where that excess money goes too. Government, if truly run like a legitimate business should have to answer for others money just as we are expected to wherever we work, spend, etc.

I would put together a task force and hunt down every illegal alien in this country.

I would ask them if they wanted to be a USA citizen, if they answer yes I would hand them a rifle and fly them to Iraq and tell them they will fight for this country to become a citizen.

If they answer no, I would fly them to Iraq without the rifle.

That would be my very first thing on my agenda.
No more wasted money on the illegals. PERIOD!!!

I am presently disabled due to a work injury in the construction field. I was born & raised in Detroit for over 40 years. I presently reside in Macomb County, in recovery since April 4, 2004. I tend to post & reply from actual experiences and topics that lean towards informing people about positive things, while making sure that the real story isn't lost in the shuffle. My posts & comments are my opinion, letting you be the judge based on the issue & current events. (Good ole Disclaimer stuff). I am all for America & Americans, but not for government control & political games. I enjoy corresponding with my fellow MyFox Detroit bloggers, being both a good talker & a good listener.
