Very true Rita; He thinks he is so untouchable & he may be knocked off of his pedestal real soon. I'd be willing to bet their are outside government agencies watching this circus & one can bet that if justice isn't served correctly, it will be by them. The law is the law & no one is above or below it, as the Kwamster shall see.

Well, waiting on the Governor to act right isn't cutting it. As I stated before in another response, Governor Granholm & anyone else need not fear retaliation and/or itimidation when making a call on Kilpatrick. It is his style to act thug-like & typical of his street thug mentality to give that "gangster glare" and use racist remarks to incite attention away from his crimes. He can laugh it off now but I'm sure he knows he will be answering to someone & it won't be to God-It will be to his peers right here. His game is quite old.

Car, Rita, Tall, we here in Minnesota are surely not faced with what you people have gone through and "are" going through with the KLAMMY, the Monica C. and members of the city council who act like 5 year old children, and the corruption, greed, and sex that all seems to go hand in hand, combined with the massive unemployement, the taxes, and all the negative crappola that exists there.
Sadly, it's taking it's toll on Detroit, and as much as we've enjoyed being in Michigan and our time in Detroit, it's not something that needs to be splashed on National TV, for it reflects badly on "ALL" the residents of Michigan. It has to change. Someone has to have the cahoones to ignore his stare, his snug-thug buddies, and find a way to rid him and his hold on Detroit.

Hang in there folks, we're rooted for you.

Exactly MiDevils; The "rumors" that circulated when Kwame & his mother were both State Reps, claiming they would sink the city & bring them to their knees seems to be unfolding as we speak. Is it any wonder why the Governor chooses to duck the issue when all 3 of them used to have Lansing addresses? Kwame's track record speaks for itself when he missed 365 key votes in a one-year period-He is more concerned about playing the role of a hip-hop smug thug than doing the job he is paid to do. But the people still support him-Fine, they can go down with him. After all, it is THEIR city, huh? Who really cares anymore???

I am presently disabled due to a work injury in the construction field. I was born & raised in Detroit for over 40 years. I presently reside in Macomb County, in recovery since April 4, 2004. I tend to post & reply from actual experiences and topics that lean towards informing people about positive things, while making sure that the real story isn't lost in the shuffle. My posts & comments are my opinion, letting you be the judge based on the issue & current events. (Good ole Disclaimer stuff). I am all for America & Americans, but not for government control & political games. I don't candy coat nothing & give what I receive. Life is too short to play mind games or waste my time with negativity.
