With an article that was writen by the NY Post it is claimed that Obama pretty much broke the law (Logan Act) when he went to Iraq.  This is not only breaking in the U.S., but it's published in Europe and Asia too.  This is what was writen and pretty much it's the same throughout the world:

Paper: Obama Tried to Stall U.S. Troop Withdrawal
2008-09-15 03:31am

Though he has often publicly called for a speedy withdrawal of all U.S. forces from Iraq, Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama has quietly pushed the Iraqi government to delay any agreement to withdraw American troops, the New York Post reported Monday.

According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July, the paper reported.

"He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington," Zebari told the Post.

Obama had argued that Congress should be involved in any negotiations to withdraw U.S. forces and that it was in everyone's best interest to not have an agreement negotiated by the Bush administration because of its "state of weakness and political confusion."

But Zebari said his government did not want to wait.

"As an Iraqi, I prefer to have a security agreement that regulates the activities of foreign troops, rather than keeping the matter open," he told the paper.

The paper said Obama also tried to persuade U.S. commanders, including the top American general in command of all operations in Iraq, Gen. David Petraeus, to suggest a "realistic withdrawal date," but they would not.

If this true and a BIG IF, Democrats better tell Hillary that she's on deck with only 50 some odd days left.  If you don't know what the Logan act is, look it up, it's a Felony.

Also if it's trure Obama just USED our Troops for Political gain and pretty much said that they are expendable.

I've been trying to verify this post and found it in the NY Post and several smaller political internet sites. Still nothing solid. Why isn't the powers that be jumping on this story? It's of dire importance, if false no harm no foul we are use to lies but if true it could have extreme consequences.

bye-bye I'm surprised because I could have sworn you said you were in the military. I don't believe that Obama would say that we are expendable. However if you were in the military, then you well know it is a phrase that you heard everyday. Especially from hard core NCOs. The other thing is, that it is hard for me to believe allot of what is out there. I mean I heard that we actually had troops in Georgia. And, that it had something to do with a plan for Georgia to provoke Russia into a skirmish in order to generate that fear in Americans. Hence they would vote for McCain. I don't believe that either.

SenorGuz,

If you look what I wrote, I said "If it's true". I was para-phrasing, I know he wouldn't say it, but that's what people would say.
Yes, you're correct, we have Soldiers in Georgia. Won't say where they came from and the numbers, but they rotated out of there since 2002.

Jax,

There's just bits and pieces of the story. But I too found it and it's being published around the world. "If it's true", then it will be an issue, but I'm thinking it's something blown out of context.

Bye-Bye. I would tend to agree. I have nothing to back it up but by the gravity of the allegation And yet not finding anything concrete I think it's something taken way out of context.
