Here we are 4 days before the local football team can set THE RECORD for futility by losing 16 games in a 16 game season- something that everyone said could not be done and unfortunately a writer ( Rob Parker) crossed the line of professionalism and gave the Lions coach Rod Marinelli an avenue to avoid aswering questions about his team losing 16 straight games and 22 out of 23 games. The clamor for many is for the writer to become unemployed but the owner of the team left the door open for the coach to retain his employment. My question is: Are we as Lions fans' going to allow the clamor to be louder for an inapropriate question to get severely punished and allow the the ineptitude, hypocrisy and braggadocio of the coach who does not regret how he helped assemble this band of football players to avoid answering to the paying public of why he along with the Lions have embarrased this city in such a manner. Will we be satisfied with this? Detroit-what do we say?
