"My people shall dwell in a peaceful habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places." Isaiah 32: 8  It was no coincidence that lightening struck the Detroit City/county bldg.

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, she is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, also said, Do not committ gluttony. Now if you do not commit adultery,  yet if you commit gluttony, you are a transgressor of the law. So speak you, and do so, as they that shall be judge by the law of liberty.  For she shall have judgment without mercy, that has showed no mercy, and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

Prayer for Detroit:

Our Lord, our help in ages past, our hope for years to come,  For you know, dear Lord how much noise and confusion enters into Detroit. Yes, I realize that many of the words and deeds are not always badly meant, but they do upset our home so much Lord.  So, today, dear Lord, I want to ask thy blessing on all who dwell in Michigan.  Help us to bear cheerfully together any sickness, any sorrow, any hardship.  Bless those who have jobs and duties to perform, dear Lord. Thank you dear Lord, that even this little talk with you has brought thy spirit into my heart, I know you will answer my prayer and I thank you for such comfort, happiness and peace.
