The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Waste.

Niagara Bottling LLC has applied to the St. John's River Water Management District for permission to sink wells in south Lake County and draw up to 177 million gallons of water per year to sell in stores.

The District's staff is recommending giving Niagara permission to do this because it'll mean millions of dollars flowing into the state's coffers. At the same time however, they are urging water conservation for Florida homeowners.

This deal carries a strong odor, to put it mildly. I wouldn't be surprised if there is some money passing under the table in this deal. Maybe FOX can send a couple of investigative reporters over there and see what they can find?

You can't drink money and those millions will just get tossed into some bureaucratic dumpster anyway.

Great Post Rob

Absolutely rite, this needs to be investigated and stopped. Old boy network at work again, Some money a back slap and a wink, and screw the peons again. Disgraceful, these people need to be exposed.

It must be exposed and stopped. Let them bottle tap water like everyone else.

This is so sad, an important issue like this gets 2 comments, while a post like (Can couples survive affairs? )
gets 17 post. Wait until home owners have to drill deeper wells or pay more for the water company too. I bet
you will see a bunch of whining when that happens.
