The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Waste.

... interesting Anthony family dynamics before they circled the wagons:

Cindy Anthony -- "I have someone here who I need be arrested and a possible missing child," referencing Casey and Caylee.

Cindy Anthony -- "There is something wrong...I found my daughter's car today, it smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car."

Sure doesn't sound like the loving and supportive mother and grandmother we've all grown to love over the past few  days, does it?

This event is playing out like some cheesy, but potentially tragic, daytime soap opera!

And lastly, how about this for a theory:
Casey left Caylee in the car with the windows rolled up while she went shopping or to have her nails done. Caylee was dead by the time Casey returned. She stuffed the kid in the trunk and left her there for a few days until she borrowed the shovel to bury the body somewhere.

What she did what so horrific that she turned to stone. And this is what we see on the news.

I fervently hope I'm wrong, and Caylee is alive and well.

Sounds to me like Cindy is trying to disconnect herself from both Casey and Caylee. She just refers to them as their ages, NOT her daughter or her granddaughter. Has anyone esle noticed this? I also sort of agree with your theory, but the one thing I have wondered is this..The babaysitter is also referred to as "Zanny", have you ever heard that term for Xanax? That's what it is commonly referred to. Maybe she was drugging the kid because Caylee was interfering with the life that Casey wanted. Just a thought ti go with the rest. I also believe that Cindy is involved and she needs CAsey out of jail so they can collaberate ther stories.

I didn't notice the age-calling thing, but that's an interesting observation.

The mysterious babysitter was named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez, that's where "zanny" may have come from.

At this point, I can't speculate anymore. I just want this to be over, one way or another. However it ends, it's a tragedy for the little girl.
