O.K....this takes the cake.  I'm totally cool with the N-F-L taking a hard stance on the off-the-field problems in the league and the commisioner trying to clean things up a bit.  But banning the cheerleaders from performing in front of the opposing team?  What?  You're kidding, right?  Nope . That's the memo sent to teams around the league.  I would like to know which team filed that complaint.  How bad a season are you having when you resort to blaming the other team's cheerleaders for your struggles.  'Honestly commish, the fact that our quarterback was flat on his back the entire game, was just a symptom of the bigger problem....we can't block their cheerleaders!"   I know desperate times call for desperate measures, but let's call on a little accountability here.  I doubt very seriously the cheerleaders have cost a team a victory.  If they have, you might want to check your team's focus.  What do you think?

God Bless!

Well if it does cost a team a victory.Their mind isn't on the game anyway.Either they play good or don't.Heck if they can be distracted that easy they don't need to be there or get a little more self control.

The Cheerleaders are the only positive site at the Rams' home games! Yeah, they aren't your traditional cheerleaders but Hooter's "servers" aren't your typical waitress either!

Since the pigSKIN isn't making it into the endzone lately - other skin will suffice! Yeah baby!

Lol Speedy you sound like you could rise to the occasion.
Timmy I agree with you 100%. Its bad enough that the team can't play ball, but now it sounds like they are going to force you to watch, by taking away the entertainment. I'm not into football at all, but if I were I'd surely want to see the cheerleaders there too.

I would be mad if I played in the NFL. I don't care what team they are for, watching cheerleaders is always a positive, and if I am on a losing team in an away city, I would at least like to watch cheerleaders.

OK, I guess I missed this one. What is going on? Are you saying that our Rams complained that they lost because the cheerleaders distracted them?

maybe they need to stop serving food because the smell could be distracting...or even people cheering...or showing up for that matter.

IMO, the girls on the sidelines referred to as cheerleaders are nothing but skin shows. Anyone who has ever been or seen a REAL cheerleading competition knows these ladies are not true cheerleaders, but more similar to dancers.

I think they are an insult to those guys and gals that take cheerleading seriously and if allowed to remain on the sidelines need to change what they call themselves.

But that is just my opinion, lol.

You ban the cheerleaders like that from football, then someone tell the commissioner the reason he gets his paycheck is because of the fans who watch and attend these games, not just his investments.

Football used to be fun to watch but now the NFL (No Fun League) is all about correctness, got to make everyone happy. Way to go commissioner, you do what you want to do and see the fans' reaction.

I am blogging. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner!!! I've wasted soooo much time NOT blogging. Has my life mattered up to this point? Was I anything before I was a blogger? Does the light stay on in the fridge after I close the door? I am so confused!
