That's right...I said 155...as in 155 miles per hour!!! I took a few laps with NASCAR driver Marcos Ambrose on Tuesday morning and you talk about a fast lap. We were hitting about 165 MPH on the track at Gateway. Now we were the only car on the track, so it wasn't quite like a NASCAR race. Imagine yourself and everybody else on your mornng commute to work going 165 and everyone is trying to get to work first(go with me on this one.) That's a little closer to what it's like during a NASCAR race. So tell me..do you feel the need for speed?

God Bless!

Ezell

I don't feel the need for speed at all.But it did look like fun Tim.I am to afraid of wrecking at 30 mile an hour much less 165.Gives me chills just thinking about it.When we come up to St.louis that is what the hiways seen to me is a stock car race or nascar.

Tim I definitely don't feel the need for speed. I do have a 19 yr. old nephew that just won a race put on by Gateway GTO though! We're really all proud of him. He is the youngest on the circuit and won out of a field of 32!!

For your kid's sake.. I'm glad you weren't driving and also glad you didn't just eat a bowl of cereal!

Saw you on the segway today. I've always wanted one of those.. I could use it to go to work where I live.

Hi, Tim!....Yeah, need for speed...about 25 years ago! At one time had a Superbee, Roadrunner and 'Cuda used to drag-race at the I-55 Dragway in Pevely. Didn't get rich from the winnings, only a couple trophies. (No, I didn't drive, was my husband-but still pretty exciting!) Our best friends at the time also raced there, but more seriously and, if I remember correctly, used some kind of jet fuel in the tank. (May not even be "legal" anymore! lol)

I guess I kinda have a need for speed, considering I was stopped by Sunset Hills for doing 75 in 60 last week. :(

I did have a lead foot. Not anymore. I laugh at the people trying to get somewhere during traffic, when there's no way. They are the kind of people who cause accidents. HEY PEOPLE! SLOW DOWN OUT THERE!!! It's not a race. I know you want to get home, but we all want to get home after a long, hard day at work. We all want to see our families at the end of the day. So SLOW DOWN, PAY ATTENTION, BE CURTOIUS, and STAY ALIVE!!!

Tim,You are so lucky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I'd loved to have been in your place!,only I'd wanna be in the drivers seat! When I was a little girl I wanted to grow up and be either a race car driver,or firefighter.Didnt get to do either one, so now I live to drive fast get hipnotized by fires.I also used to street race back in the day,But the fastest I drove was about 130 or 135.What an adrenaline rush!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I would love to some day meet Tony Stewart,Jeff Gordon,or even Kenny Schrader. Those are the ones I usually root for. Kenny Schrader lives out by me,and when I drive by,if they have the cars out and working on them,I'll honk as I fly by.Gotta show support for someone from my home town!

No, don't have a need for speed, but sure do get upset at those that rush in front of you insteading of merging on the highway, then slow down to do 50 in a 60. This happened 3 days this week on I-44 Eastbound. These idiots getting on 44 at Elm need to either yield or speed up a bit.

I am blogging. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner!!! I've wasted soooo much time NOT blogging. Has my life mattered up to this point? Was I anything before I was a blogger? Does the light stay on in the fridge after I close the door? I am so confused!
