I've been working on two novels.  I feel like a complete hermit, but I am in absolute paradise.  Because I'm doing what I love.  I'm following my passion for writing... and my purpose in life to educate and entertain people with books, articles, and journalist projects.

On a recent weekend, I wrote 15,000 words.  Then, between a recent Monday and Tuesday, I composed 12,000 words.  Whole chapters, chunks of books.

Now, I teach writing seminars on how to write books and get published.  They're usually standing room only, because so many people are dreaming -- right now -- about writing their book. Whether they're seeking fame, fortune or the fulfillment of sharing their words and ideas with the world, it is a thrilling idea to entertain.

But the reality of writing is -- you have to LOVE it.  You have to get excited about verbs and storytelling.

Because it's lonely.  Grueling.  And requires immense discipline.  On a recent weekend, I sat here writing from Friday night until Sunday evening.  I only got up for spinning class and a quick trip to pick up Thai take-out.

But it doesn't feel like a sacrifice.  I absolutely love immersing into the stories and  the characters who do things I'd never do in real life.  I look up and hours have past, or suddenly I notice that it's dark outside.  I force myself to go to sleep as ideas whiz through my head.  I wake up and make a beeline back into my imagination.

My point?  Writing is my Bliss.

I hope that you can indulge your purpose and passion, to Find Your Daily Bliss, too.
