Ok, this is directed mainly for the ladies, because, well it just is.  I know this sounds lame and perhaps opportunistic, but is it just me or is Aaron Rodgers kinda hot?  I've seriously never really noticed before- but he's been so smiley lately, and he's got the big blue eyes- he's sort of hot!  I mean thank goodness he cut his hair, that was definitely not working for him.  I don't know if it's the appeal of success or just a man that's stepping up and taking charge (don't go there, you know what I'm saying!  :)  But honestly, let me be the first to say, Goodbye Brett!!  Hello, Aaron!!

I have a question for all you runners- Is there a right way to breathe when you run?  I ran a lot in college and then had a baby, so I've been walking awhile.  Well I'm trying to do more running again, and I can't get a good breathing pattern going!  I remember a guy telling me a long time ago how to breathe- but I can't remember.  Is it in through your mouth and out through your nose?  Does it even matter?

I can't really talk about it on the air, since it would be promoting another network (shame, shame)- but I can blog about just about anything!  :)

Have you been watching the Olympics from Beijing?  I have missed a lot of sleep because I can't get myself to turn off the gymnastics coverage at night!  Thank goodness that's over.

My favorite so far has definitley been the men's 4x100 freestyle relay in which Jason Lezak had the swim of his life to put the U.S. ahead of the trash talking Frenchies.  It was an unbelievable finish, and helped give Phelps one of his EIGHT golds!  That, and watching Usein Bolt just destroy everyone in his path- that is without a doubt the fastest thing I've ever seen, unbelievable.  He's like superhuman.

What are your faves?

I understand the wide range of emotions regarding the Brett Favre/Packers saga.  It is absolutely sad what's happened between the two.  I understand people choosing sides or feeling more allegiance to one or the other-people are entitled to their feelings and opinions.

But here's what I don't understand, these people who are lined up at the fence as the Packers practice and cheer to "Bring Brett Back"- you're doing nothing but being a disruption to the team who's name you wear on your chest.  Again, they are entitled to their opinions-write the front office, leave Ted Thompson messages demanding a change- But don't stand outside the team practice and create even more of a distraction for "your" team.  Honestly, it's like standing outside our studio and yelling at Ted Perry as he comes in to work about how much you love and want Jerry Taff to unretire.  Weird analogy, I know, but you hear what I'm saying.

Honestly those people should lose their game seats (if they have them) and any right to wear a Packers jersey or hat.  They may be fans, but they're not Packers fans. With fans like that- who needs Bears fans.

What a difficult post this is to write... But Packers fans, myself included, I think it's time we took the hint with all this Brett Favre- should I stay or should I go- and realize...  He doesn't want to play in Green Bay anymore.

The writing has been on the wall for awhile, and this just seals the deal... regardless of who is to blame, and I think there's plenty of that to go around... it seems pretty obvious that Brett doesn't want to play for the Green Bay Packers anymore.  And as hard as that is to say, even more so to actually believe... I think we all need to take the hint.

Mine is the playoff game this year at Lambeau, Green Bay against Seattle, the snow was flying, the crowd and players were going crazy... the Packers were around the 20 yard line... Favre nearly gets sacked... he stumbled, throwing the ball at the same time, and the Packers get the first down!  It was a classic Lambeau moment and classic Favre moment, I'm so glad that I was able to be there to see it!

Let's hear yours...

I was fortunate enough to attend the Packers Playoff game Saturday against Seattle.  My husband's family has tickets and on Friday they told us they wouldn't be able to go.  Did things go our way or what?!  It was by far the most exciting game I've ever been to, especially at Lambeau.

When you think of a great Packers game, it would have to have several things... Brett Favre, a Packers win and some Wisconsin snow... This game had all that and the crowd was lovin' it!  Of course at first, it was pretty depressing, I thought, this cannot be happening!!  But the Pack didn't let us down... And the throw by Brett when he was almost sacked, then nearly fell and he just tossed it forward-classic Brett.

Now let's pray for a Giants victory so we can do it again!

I just returned from watching the Packers take on the Raiders at Lambeau.  I know it's tradition, it's called the Frozen tundra, afterall... but that game was ridiculously cold.  And the thing that really stinks isn't the temperature, it's trying to fit in your seat with so many people around you wearing all the layers and thick clothes... my husband and I had to rotate, one leaning forward, one sitting upright, for us to fit.  The ground below us was frozen so that was really the only cold thing, our feet.  Thank goodness we like the people who sit around us because our cheekies were smushed right up against theirs (you know what I mean!)

But in the end, the Packers really kicked the Raiders butts, and for that... I'll sit my butt in the frozen tundra any day.

Well Saturday hurt.  It really, really hurt.  Not because we lost, but because we lost so bad.  My alma mater, the Miami Hurricanes played 5th ranked Oklahoma on Saturday.  We have a new coach and are definitely coming off a bad year last year... but the final score... 54 to 13 (I think).

The first half we hung in there, I could see our guys fighting so hard.  They got about ten tries in the red zone to score a touchdown and they finally did.

But to see your team fight so hard and then get beat so bad... Ugh, it hurts.  I have faith we'll be back, just not sure how long it will take.

I guess if there's any comfort for me-I'm sure Michigan fans are feeling even worse!!  :)

Football is not just a guy thing, I am here to tell you!  I am so excited for tonight's game I can't stand it.  And what a way to start the season, with Brees/Bush and the Saints, against Peyton/Marvin and the Colts?!  It's gonna be a good old fashioned shoot out and I'm so excited!  I grew up in Southeastern Ohio so we really didn't have our own team.  Some cheered for the Bengals, some the Browns... so I've become a Packers fan by default (did I even have a choice when I moved here?  :)

So let me ask you all this.... Are you ready for some football?!!
