Has anyone began to notice this whole scandal/justice issue is a crock? The preliminary exam gets shoved down to September, "friendly" city & county judges are "allowed" to rule on a case that should be tried in a state/federal court, and somehow the whole perjury and lying deal is getting lost in the shuffle. Mayor Kilpatrick was right about one thing-He will be Mayor for quite a while yet while the "justice" systems' wheels are slowly grinding this one out. How the Governor can let this circus persist & let this scandal give Michigan a major black-eye is beyond my comprehension, Tall. And she DOES have the power to end this madness & begin some type of healing process too. Fear of some ludicrous riot shouldn't even be an issue because many know Detroit & the region would never survive another one.

Well Giles didn't even make KK stand in the corner as punishment for missing his court date yesterday. KK was ordered to provide 48 hours notice prior to leaving the state....why didn't Giles know that KK was leaving the state???? A criminal defendant is usually issued a warrant when they don't comply with the court's notice to appear...hmmmmm Giles didn't seem to have mention that. Then KK's attorney can tell the judge that he knows where KK is but didn't want to disclose that information - that's contempt!!! Gee Mr. Giles...you really were impartial and displayed the utmost in unbias opinion and ethics on this. I wonder how many of his "rulings" will set a new precedent for other criminal defendants facing perjury and leave town without giving the 48 hour notice as required by court order. Detroit already has forensic issues...Giles' mockery of the judicial system is sure to help even more criminals go free.

SO NOW KK DON'T EVEN HAVE TO ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT CITY BUSINESS REGARDING THAT TEXAS TRIP , ON TODAY'S NEWS CH 2 KK WAS INFORMED BY HIS LAWYER NOT TO TALK ABOUT THAT , CAN ANYONE ANSWER THIS OR AM I NUTS BUT I REMEMBER HIM SAYING THAT HE'S NOT LEAVING HIS POSITION BECAUSE THIS SCANDAL WONT EFFECT CITY BUSINESS BUT IT SEEMS TO BE IF HIS LAWYER IS ADVISING HIM ABOUT CITY STUFF THEY JUST NEED TO GET THERE STORY STRAIGHT , DETROIT , WHAT A BLEEP HOLE I MISSED THE PART ON THE NEWS THAT PESSIMISTIC OPT MENTIONED , I KNOW THAT I WOULD BE IN JAIL IF IT WERE ME , NOW MISS ETHICS MONICA CONYERS IS BEING LOOKED AT FOR SOMETHING SHADY ,GOOD,I HATE THAT BE OTCH, I HOPE THE PROSECUTOR WINS HER APPEAL TO DISQUALIFY GILES AND THE REST AND MOLE FACE JENNY GIVES KK THE BOOT , AND PIPPER ,, JENNY IS PROBABLY ON HER KNEES ALRIGHT , IN THE MANOOGIAN MANSION

I also don't understand how the Mayor can say no comment and yet run the city. I thought as Mayor of a city you are required to discuss city business and if your attorney says you can't then how can you keep your position as a Mayor of any city. Am I missing something here or does he get to change the rules as he goes along claiming to run the city as usual. How many people does he have in his pocket and who? I don't know about you but I'd really like to know.
