Rev Wright in my opinion using Obama, race and the attention he is receiving for his own benefit. On top of that the media is feeding his goal, what ever it may be. I’m one of the troops overseas in this now 100 plus heat again and all we see and hear is bad home front news. I won’t say who I support but I will say I will vote for the person I feel will best represent us as Americans blind to color, religion, sex or financial status. That’s what to me being the leader of America is. Rome is burning and all I see is focus on trash talk of who did what twenty years ago and what he or she said ten years ago.
What am I fighting for here? The true reason. I’m told for freedom of my country but I feel safer outside my home. For the terror is within. Who’s beating up civilians when they should be protecting? Who gets away with beatings, shooting and murder because of race or how much money they make? Who blew up the building in Oklahoma? We are quick to send food and aid to countries that we can benefit from in a blink of a eye with the cloak of being humanitarian help. I can go on and on but we Americans need to focus on our house, our food crisis, fuel problem, inner city living conditions, rural places like Kentucky and make sure every child has the same chance to grow into there full potentials.
Rev Wright made a statement that black and white kids lean differently, which in my eyes is totally bull. The education system and learning tools are not the same for all kids, that’s the problem that needs addressed and corrected. What has Wright done for his community in this area? I full heartily agree with Obama to cut all ties with this man and hope we as Americans see and do what is right for us as a nation. Race and sex should not be an issue what so ever in this election and the news media in general capitalize on any distraction it can. Just stop airing Wrights trash talk because he is hurting not just the election but us a people and other nations are watching the circus act we are having. It makes me not so proud of what I represent.
