I like it, RC. The team has been playing like a bunch of kittens during the 1st half of each game, digging themselves into a hole. That hole is so deep by the 3rd quarter that no matter how hard they finish, it has yet to be enough to get out.

With 10 games left, I'd like to see that kitten grow and mature as much as possible. Play for pride and team spirit, and by all means, give the ball to Calvin Johnson more than just 4 times like on Sunday against the Texans.

Since Roy Williams is gone, a player I thought was tagged to be the organization's new franchise player, do you think Calvin Johnson has a chance to be the Lions' new franchise player if he decides to stay?

The only solution to the Lions problems is for the team to be sold to some responsible owner who takes pride in the team that is fielded on Sundays. This has gotten to be a joke, year in, year out.
Maybe, there should be a grand jury empaneled to investigate the Ford family for fraud

Bruce,

In the mid-1980's, as an audience member on the TV show, Kelly and Company, I asked a question of then owner of the Detroit Tigers, Tom Monaghan, who was a guest on the show. I asked him if he would ever sell the team, and if the answer were yes, for how much?

Mr. Monaghan became a little defensive and denied having any desire to ever sell the Tigers. Well, we know that he eventually did sell the team to Mike Ilitch.

Do what you want with this example to extrapolate it to Mr. Ford and the Detroit Lions.

Even though, I believe, Mr. Ford has no intention of ever selling the team, people do have the right to change their mind.
