The democrats, who desperately want a democrat administration in the white house, are saying loud and clear that the country is in a recession. The evidence is heard on CNN, a station with a democrat bias. The Fox News channel, slanted more toward the republican side, reports something different.

There's an old saying: 'Even if you lined up all the economists in the world, you still wouldn't reach a conclusion'.

I remember an economics teacher at Macomb Community College back in the late '70's tell his class: 'If you're out of work, it's a depression. If your neighbor is out of work, it's a recession'.

Who's a voter to believe in an age when so many people say whatever they want to get what THEY want?

The Recession is very real and has been taking place slowly and behind the scenes for the last seven years. The Republicans and their loyal followers try to mask it as good for the country as a whole. The hidden agenda is to reduce the wages of all Americans and put us on an unwanted "level plain" with the rest of the world. It starts with them singling out one group (Auto industry) and rallying the country against them by screwing the same people they are using against the first group. They provide a way for this group to lose their jobs and others to take them at a reduced wage (Screwing)
This "Trickle down effect" eventually affects all Americans and the rich, You should do as your told and accept what your givi'n, Republicans are laughing all the way to the bank. It isn't all about money, it is about your freedom also. No unions mean do as your told Boy!
What a shame. I used to be a Republican before this Bush crap started. I think Bush is just as bad as Clinton. Clinton may have gotten a B___ _OB but Bush is selling our country. Both wrong! Two wrongs don't make a right, but two Wrights flew an airplane. We need to take back America.

How's about us holding politicians acountable for what they say during an election ? Or even disqualifying them when they are caught lying , or missrepresenting facts ?

I agree Shock. Lieing under oath is illegal, all we have to do is push for a law to require truth when politicizing and truth when in office. I know we have the "Uphold the constitution" thing when elected. This is an oath of office.

Misrepresenting facts and allowing Americans to believe something that is not true, like the Bush declaration for China and allowing everyone to say , "Clinton did it"
