Great!  Ok, let me get this straight.  If I make a call to a foreign country, Homeland Security (HS) or Big Daddy is recording it – or even listening to my conversation.

EXCELLENT idea – now when I call Charter or Dell (et al) for customer service someone in HS is now acting as my witness that their customer service STINKS!  Oh, a little hint to HS – be sure to have a multi language specialist available – you’ll need it.

Will I get a case number from HS in order for me to prove that I didn’t order certain items from Charter?  Just because the foreigner answering the phone didn’t understand that I said, “cancel my account”, NOT add the full digital high definition package – HS will cover for me!

Great idea!  Love it!  I now feel more secure calling Charter, Dell, and others companies using substandard foreign customer service.  I knew our tax dollars were being spent wisely!

Since any acts of STUPIDITY (rudeness) are not legally a misdemeanor yet - I will delete any rude remarks from experienced jerks. I do have the right to discriminate!

You forgot to mention, Liberal Democrats(the only type in this country) added to this existing law,(since 911) the opportunity to hire a lawyer, and sue whatever company you want for giving out your records. So I would hope that any liberal that is offended will take comfort in being able to possibly bring down a communication company with just one attorney and one Liberal. What do you think?

Actually Bubba it didn't come to mind nor does it still. I believe it's a much bigger picture than blaming a Democrat or Republican. Thanks for your input though.

Waddup Speedo looks like you finally started writing blogs again? Yeah I wonder just how much time and money will be spent monitoring random calls out of the United States. And bubba I truly think it was a combination of the entire political arena doing such a feat (sp?). LOL to the Charter comment I agree.

Hey Speedy

Maybe then will Homeland Security realize the idiots we have to deal with overseas.

Actually I much rather have HS listening than ignoring. Who wants to listen when I make my pizza order tonight?

And Bubba care to listen in when I call my live-in girlfriend from Black Jack?

Huh! I have heard the monitor the internet traffic also. If that is so they must relly be searching for intelligence, and have yet to find it. Particuraly on Youtube.
They really want us to believe they have the ability to monitor all communications overseas?
Heck, they can't even find their own butts with a flashlight at noon on the equator.

And isn't this the same government that claimed someone had weapons of mass destruction? We have such excellent intelligence.

I'm back. Blew a modem in the storm Sunday.

I'm sure HS will only listen for comic relief. They do have important business to attend to.

I was wondering, but now I know why that Black Suburban parked up the street was shaking from side to side while I was on the phone to London a couple times this morning!

I like the take, speedy.

Maybe Homeland Security WILL contribute something useful to our lives! Having that proof of what you actually asked these offshore job-sending corporations to do vs. what they actually did will be VERY important!

And, YES, we CAN thank the Democrats for protecting our right to sue these corporations when they screw up, using this Homeland Security audio for proof in court!

Man, bubba, I'm still waiting for that one customer and one liberal lawyer to bring down an entire communications corporation! In fact, I'd like to try to bring down AT&T, because I've had trouble with their billing. Any liberal activist lawyers out there wanna help me out on this one? Should only take a couple of days, according to the so-enlightened right-wingers among us!

From what I can gather from reading about our government post-Bush post-Republican take-over, I think we've almost reached a 1-to-1 ratio of people watching us vs. the people being watched.

Right out of 1984!

I think the parts Homeland Security thinks are comic relief are probably the terrorist's conversations. Not real sure we can count on them to know the difference.

After all, their leaders sure don't have a clue.

Mechany and Biker I was thinking the same thing.

Did you know that UPS can track a package all around the world but the US Government still can’t find Osama bin Laden.

If you can cut/paste each line separately this will take you to the interview with Judge Webster. Let me know if you can save the clip. I'll delete the above 2 or 3 comments after I hear back from you.

I am me. I've been blogging since the term existed but began here in March 2007. I am completing my Doctorate of CS (Common Sense). I like a harsh debate but when ego gets involved we all tend (except ego-tripper) to shy away. I am a firm believer that STUPIDITY should be a misdemeanor.
