By now, you've heard the comments of Detroit Lions Vice Chairman Bill Ford Jr.

He thinks the team isn't living up to expectations, and if it were up to him, he'd make changes including the firing of Matt Millen.

What do you think?
Is it time for William Clay Ford to pull the trigger and start new?
Or should the team stick to its plan?

His record speaks for itself. 31-84 -- worst in the league during the same time period.

Get rid of him. Nothing personal, just business.

Matt Millen and Rod Maranelli are All Talk and They Dont Know What The Heck They Are Doing And here We Go With another Disappointing Season .. 0 -3 What the heck Is That Garbage FORD Family??? How The heck Is Millen being Allowed to Stay Here in Detroit? Like I Said Before The Lions Will Never Make It Into the Playoffs and Never Will Win a Superbowl.. All Rod Miranelli and His Whole Staff are a Bunch Of Talkers and Rod Miranelli DOES NOT Have a Impressive Record and Neither does Matt Millen... BELIEVE IN NOW?? What Kind Of Crap Is That? Hey Detroit Lions "THERE IS NO REASON TO BELIEVE IN YOU".. You Have NO OFFENSE ,NO DEFENSE and NO QUARTERBACK so GET OVER YOURSELF..."YOU GUYS STINK" THE LIONS Will NEVER AMOUNT TO ANYTHING UNLESS CHANGES ARE MADE AND MADE RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes!
Millen is a common bully, it's time that he be treated as such. I'm still p-o'ed about the way he treated Steve Mariucci. He's just awful.

If Millian was a man of honor he would quit as he haS NOT DONE THE JOB HE WAS HIRED TO DO.Its sad but there are very few players that other teams would want so we are back to hoping to get the many holes filled tru the draft. They let go the leading reciever in the preseason Standifore and kept over rated williams and johnson.I like Furry and McDonald and Fitzsimmions the others have to many drops for pros and Kitna is a big mistake. They need a mobil QB like stanton or Henson but I like Big O also

Its a total disgrace that Millen has been allowed to stay as long as he has. The fans should just boycott the games. Mr Ford will quickly make a move when there is no money being generated.

I consider myself to be a Lions fan but enough is enough. I think the only way the Ford family will fire Matt Millen is if ticket sales slump. I think as fans it is time to boycott the Lions until they get rid of Matt Millen and then we can continue to enjoy our hardworking players.

Fire all the Lions, Tear down Ford Field , Move the team to Bolivia, And force the Ford family to give up their ownership. That might start to make up for me being a fan for over the last 50 years.

Fire Miranelli and Millen and hire Bill Cowhers as head coach and than hire Brain bilick as GM. Enough said

Its something that should of happend a long time ago. It kinda makes me wonder if the Ford family is using the failing LIONS ORG, as a TAX RITEOFF for all their successfull business's.

Why should Mr. Ford fire him? When each game is a sellout. Think of all the money he's making. Mr. Ford should sell the team to someone who gives a damm about Detroit Sport teams and make this team a winner.

Here's my thing I really hate when the NFL season comes around every year in Detroit because most fans I believe, know that the result is going to be the same every year. I also think that the Lions are not only going to make franchise history this year but NFL history in becoming the first team to go 0-16 in a season. (To be honest I hope they go 0-16 so this organization can get a serious reality check.) Mr. Ford really just needs to clean house in my opinion starting from the bottom on up with the players & coaches all the way to the front office and relieving Matt Millen of his duties as GM. At the rate the Lions are going right now, I hope Mr. Ford has his pinnies saved up b/c it doesn't seem like they're making to much money with Ford Motors and I don't see much money coming in from Lions games this year or Lions games being broadcast on television as I think they are 1 or 2 games away from having their games blackout for the rest of the season.

"Hey Lions fans,Believe it now"
"Right here,right now"
For Detroit being such a great sports town, the Lions and it's organization has embarrassed us again..Instead of hearing a roar from Ford Field, all we hear is a "ME-OW..

Most people are judged by their job performance. If your performance is good, you keep your job and possible get a raise. If you perform badly, you get fired or demoted. It's just normal business sense right? No emotions. If Ford judges Matt by ticket sales, and nothing else, then we know why he still has his parking spot. But if he is judged by the Team Performance, one has to wonder if Mr Ford has lost his ability to make competint decisions.

Not only trash Matt! Start holding players accountable, you cause a penalty, you pay a fine. You drop a catchable pass.....$$ PAY A FINE!
Receivers: Take the gloves off and feel the BALL! The gloves aren't working for ya's, anyways!!
Linemen: Play till the whistle blows, stop slacking, run downfield!

Mr Ford sell the team to Mr. Ilitch so the Lions can experience a winning season like the rest of the Detroit teams. And yes Matt Your Fired...
