Are Detroit Sports in For a Rocky Road?

While Detroit is still celebrating the Red Wings victory, the folks at ESPN are trying to ruin our fun. They wrote an open letter telling Detroiters to enjoy this cup well, because they foresee a rocky road for the city’s sports for a while.

Their letter goes from saying the Tigers are just “treading water” to taking shot at the Pistons, Lions, Michigan and Michigan State Football and even the Detroit Shock. According to the letter, "if you're a Detroit fan, savor the present the future just doesn't seem to hold much promise."

The letter takes a serious stab at the city of Detroit itself, so what gives??

 

What do you think??
Does ESPN really have sufficient evidence to make such a statement?

Are we really in for a rocky period in the Best Sports City of America?

ESPN has always favored East Coast teams. It does not surprise me that they knock one of the more vibrant sports towns in recent history. 3 out of 4 of our teams are winning, and the Wings & Pistons have been dominate over the last 6 to 7 years. Why are they the sports station we watch? Try FSN. They're more news, and unbiased worthy.

ESPN SHUT UP:

Wow Your Really a Bunch of Ignorant FOOLS!!! We have 3 of 4 teams that Are Championship Quality, The DETROIT Tigers, The DETROIT Pistons and The STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS of 2008 The DETROIT RED WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!! The DETROIT LIONS will come Around and then we will have all 4 teams That Are CHAMPIONSHIP Quality and you Will Have WHAT?????

WHAT DO YOU GOT???? NOT A GOD DAMN THING!!!!

This is" The Motor City" Atleast WE Got FANS That Support Our Sports Teams No matter What.. If They Have a Bad Season Or If They Win A Championship Through The Good Times and Through The Bad Times....... OUR FANS are ALWAYS THERE! We Stick By Our Teams....

When You Have as many Championship Titles as Us Here In Detroit ,Then and Only Then Can You Say Something... !!!!!


WHAT IT BOILS DOWN TO IS THAT YOU ALL ARE JUST JEALOUS BECAUSE YOU ALL DONT HAVE NOTHING!!!

Well hell take a real good look at Detroit,
we're broke the schools are a joke, babies having babies, the police are afraid of the Chalmers and Jefferson area and the parks look like hell until an event comes but when it's over the citizens of Detroit trash the area, public officials stay in the paper all sorts of crimes and countless scandals, when these teams go to other cities think of the ridicule that they must endure on the field, who wants to cheer you on in another city or state when we have nothing but drama nothing positive day after day night after night rocky road maybe maybe not I hope not everybody in Detroit is not bad!.
