I think No One should. In today's sport's scene it seems because there is a bad year let's fire someone. If we did that the Lion's wouldn't be doing as good because everybody want Millen gone too. Lloyd has brought us many years of great football and I wish he would tell the media I'm here because Michigan needs me.

In the end, the best case for Lloyd’s retirement was made by Lloyd himself, with that dismal performance Saturday. I didn’t see a single play that I hadn’t seen all year. Couldn’t he have come up with anything different, unexpected or surprising? We were so Geico ... a game plan so simple a caveman could do it .. that we gave OSU a completely pressureless win, which is a disgrace to the rivalry.

He’s an honorable guy but thank the football gods he’s out. I saw EMU vs. CMU on cable Friday night, and both coaches had ten times the creativity and fire as Grumpy Gus.

The next head coach cannot be one of Lloyd’s assistants. We need a creative offensive mind. Maybe Les Miles, but maybe Bobby Petrino, who turned Louisville into an offensive juggernaut with far less talent before moving to the Atlanta Falcons. I’ve also heard talk of Jon Gruden.

Please, someone who can make Michigan football fun and exciting again!

I think someone like Dan Dierdorf would be a good fit at this time...someone who knows Bo.

Id love to see Les Miles as our new coach! Even though it may cost $1.25 million to get him here, the U of M can afford that.

Michigan needs someone with the integrity and values of Lloyd Carr and the creative coaching being used in the SEC! I hope that the rumored rift between Coach Carr and Les Miles does not influence the decision process...afterall, as Lloyd Carr said, it's about what's best for Michigan!
