Next year's Michigan - Michigan St. game is already shaping up to be a good one. 

Senior running back Mike Hart commented that the Spartans were like Michigan's 'little brother'  following the Wolverines 28-24 victory in East Lansing Saturday.

This comment led quite the verbal tongue lashing from Spartans head coach Mark Dantonio.

"Does Hart have a little brother? Or is he the little brother?" Dantonio said when asked about the comments. Dantonio then held out his hand to indicate Hart's height, which is listed at 5-foot-9 by the Wolverines.

"They need to check themselves sometimes," Dantonio said Monday when asked about the Wolverines' postgame behavior. "Just remember, pride comes before the fall."

So what do you make of all this?

Does Mike Hart look classless for these remarks? Or should Dantonio not respond to an opposing player's joking comments following a victory and focus on trying to clinch a bowl berth?

I laugh at how he talks about the height of Mike Hart when Hart ran all over MSU Defense and Hart was on one bad leg, if Hart would of played alot in the 2nd half he would of had over 150+yards. Plus Mike Hart got the last laugh because he meet MSU in his senior year.

I really don't mind either sides comment. But look at the numbers - through 100 meetings, U-M has 66 victories?

I used to play 'P.I.G.' against my little brother in the driveway and I'd say I held that winning percentage as well.

Dantonio might want to worry about Purdue and leave taking shots at opposing players to his own players (ala Hoyer, who's kinda getting a free pass in this whole debate).

Here's to a U-M Rose Bowl appearance and another Motor City Bowl spot for the Spartans...

Dantonio is a typical Spartan...of course the UM sideline wasn't laughing when they were down 10, they were focused on the business at hand - beating State. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

Out of 100 games UM has won 67...and any team that has a 67% winning percentage IS THE OLDER BROTHER.

We welcome Sparty in next year to take his lumps again. GO BLUE!

MSU is a garbage team, they have a countdown to (#12) michigan, but not (#1) ohio state, which just shows they know they are no good and expect to lose. Danantonio is a crybaby who cant take a jokes from the wolverines after he himself said that bit about having a moment of silence after the loss to app state. He incited Hart into saying what he did. For what the MSU quarterback said about the little brother winning, so what if MSU wins 1 game every 6 or 7 years, they still stink.

what a big cry baby Dantanio is and a sore loser to mock someone on their height i bet he points and laughs when he sees handicapped people too and the only reason he evens had the guts to say those things is he knows Mike Hart is a senior and him and his sorry Spartans wont face Hart again But oh well we all know we wont have to deal with him long he will be fired in a few years The state of Michigan will always be Maize and Blue cause green is a sorry color BLUE RULES green drools

My impression of soon to be another ex spartan coach Dantinio WAAA WAAA mommy lil Mikey Hart was mean to me make him stop WAAA WAAA i want my bottle what a baby he needs to put his attention on the next game maybe him and his spartans can get in the toliet bowl
