Tara should have been stripped of her crown, it should have been giving to the runner up. I can recall several incidents in the past were others was stripped of their crown for minor things. This simply takes the cake, I will not allow my daughter to watch the pageants again because it is sending the wrong message, I would not want her to think that you can do stuff like this and simply get away with it.

The crown should be returned to Vanessa Williams. Tara Conner knew the rules for being Miss USA before she began the competition. She made a choice to break them. By allowing her to keep her crown sends the message that young people can ignore rules when its convenient for them. Then if you have the right connections or cry big enough tears, someone will tell you that you do not have to be responsible for your actions or suffer any consequences.

Of course she gets to keep her position !! Can we expect anything less !! Shes blonde... shes pretty and shes DUMB ! Thanks Donald for setting the moral bar soooooo high !!

Let her keep the crown , she is the best looking Miss America i have ever seen. So what she had a few drinks, big deal...loosen up world it sounds like we finally have a Miss America who has fun and enjoys life, not some stuck up BLEEP.
