Have you noticed whenever you see a post about Obama it’s usually NOT just the run of the mill “I disagree with his policy” type of post. I’d say about 80% of the people that post about Obama have an almost fanatical hate for him. It’s always about how he’s some kind of undercover Muslim, or a Separatist Christian. It’s funny how the same people that complained about Obama not wearing a flag lapel pin, Now cry foul when he does. It’s Crazy how SOME people will say that Obama is bringing “race” into his campaign for the presidency by showing pictures of his “white” mother. Why do would someone object to him showing HIS mother? The people who are making a big deal out of his mother, are the ONLY ones making race an issue.

Are the republicans in their death throws?

YES!!

The only way to keep the status quo going is to get John  McCain McSame elected. Or should I say re-elected because he will be the third term of the bush administration.

To all of you “Pro-McCain” people…….Why don’t you try posting something about McCain and how great his policies are for America, instead of posting a bunch of crap about Obama, that has nothing to do with the issues? Hmmmmmm?

ANSWER. John McCain is a bum!

People making sense is not a very common thing to see in this forum.

I am also interested in McSame's great strategies for this country... I take that people think George W. Bush's policies are working just fine, huh?

Which policy? On which day?
By the way, any news on how BamBam's going to get Mother Nature to let up on the cold weather this winter? But as long as the prices "go up slowly", I guess it's a good thing. At least if your insane.

Are you referring to McCain or Obama? McCain has changed policy over the course of this election season hell he’s flip flopped in the same day! Even the republicans he was running against for the nomination called him a flip-flopper!
HIS OWN PARTY!

I know this may be hard to believe, but once all of the oil is gone, it’s gone. The day the first barrel of oil was pump up to the surface we started running out. The days of cheap gas are gone! I would rather have gas go up slowly than leap frog like it has under the Bush administration!

What else ya got! I’m surprised I didn’t get a “Obama is the anti-Christ!“ thing going.

How much will it cost for universal health care? How much will it cost for free college? how much will it cost for expanding all the agency that he plans to expand? There are about 300 million people in the U.S. so if it cost say $100 a week for one person figure it out. If college cost how much a semester for one person do the math and when you get done doing all the math figure out where it will come from. We are not talking billions here but trillions in taxes. There are not that many rich people in this country and do not think for an istant he is talking about taxing the richie riches so where do you think it will come from? Can you say MY PAY CHECK?

Well SEEDUB, I guess I'm that 20%. You know I don't spew that Muslim crap. But lately
Obama has been putting his foot in his mouth. He flip-flop on Iraq over the weekend. He's leaning to the right on the Iraq issue.

"ANSWER. John McCain is a bum!"

If they have a (R) or a (D) next to their name they should be hanging from lamp posts.

Its that simple.

When are people gonna wake up to the fact that the two party cartel we have in this country don't give two squirts of piss about the common folk of this nation?

Only the MONEY and POWER.

PS, Obama is the Anti-Christ.

LeMay,

What about an (I) after their name? There's a nut job from Vermont with an (I) after his name. I think there's two with the (I).

SEEDUB,

Here's a question for you, what would happen if Obama picked a Republican for a VP?

bye-bye,

I think if we got rid of all the repubs and dems, the other 2 would fall into line quite quickly.

Don't you?

I was referring to Mr. Obama's comments regarding the price of oil. He still thinks we should continue to wait for alternatives to be developed as the price continues to rise and americans can't afford to drive or heat their homes. No word yet on an answer from Mother Nature on nixing the cold this winter. Now that would be a "change".
As for the oil being "gone", not by a longshot. You do know there are by products from drilling, don't you?

gimini210, honey... this individualism and selfishness disgusts me.
Yes, taxes might go up, sure, but at least you know you would be living in a country with a far better infra-structure, so when your kids go to college, it won't have to come from your paycheck, or when something bad happens and you end up at the hospital, you won't go to bankruptcy because you can't pay medical bills. Also, by cutting the millions of dollars spent in a war that makes zero sense and does nothing but to ruin American reputation and fuel international hate for Americans (guess what, if you don't mess with the rest of the world, they won't mess with you), there won't be the need to increase taxes by that much... it's plainly simple.

Paula, maybe you missed it, but socialism and communism have failed time and again throughout history. But I'm sure if you head to South America or Europe you'll be able to find a country that will fit you Utopia. Your last sentence says it all. "there won't be the need to increase taxes by that much..." Now that's funny. LOL

If you've ever been outside of the US, you would know that:
Communism hasn't really worked.
Some versions of Socialism did work... look at Switzerland, for example.
And just a reality check... this hardcore version of capitalism does not work either... look at the US economy and social differences (middle class vanishing), for example.

Paula,

Explain this statement?

"a war that makes zero sense and does nothing but to ruin American reputation and fuel international hate for Americans (guess what, if you don't mess with the rest of the world, they won't mess with you)"

In what way did the United States, I would say we, but we doesn't include you, did for the 9/11 attacks? Give me your opinion. I don't remember messing with any country before 9/11. Unless you think we messed with Iraq, but you think Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11.

to continue.....I used Iraq is because we had a no-fly zone over thier country for 10 years. I'm sure you probably didn't know that.

Paula,

Ask me, I've been all over the world. Do you mean the 19% tax that Germany has? The Canadian Health care system, by the way the Canadians are coming to the U.S. for health care. The tax on EVERYTHING in Europe.

Obama and McCain both "flip flop." I will vote for the best candidate... Dem or Rep.

And I know I am probably controversial but... I thought things were good for our entire country under the Clinton administration.

I would have voted for Hillary. Now I am not happy with either party.

"so when your kids go to college, it won't have to come from your paycheck"

Paula,

Where exactly do you think the money comes from to pay for stuff like that.

It doesn't just appear out of nowhere.

There once was a bird who didn't fly south for the winter. One day when it got really cold the bird fell to the ground, and was well on his way to freezing to death. Then along came a cow, that crapped right on the bird warming him, therefore sparing his life. The bird got so happy he started to chirp. A cat over heard the chirping from the pile of dung, uncovered the bird, and promptly ate him. The moral of the story is that somebody who puts you in chit isn’t always your enemy, and a person who get's you out of chit isn't necessarily your friend.
