No, it shouldn't be Illegal, because where would it stop, a state sponsored uniform! It's just a fad that will stop being “cool” after a little while just like Bellbottom jeans. I don’t think There’s any need to make more laws.

There is a law on record. It is called Indecent exposure. If the kids knew that it started in Jail as a way to advertise gay sex, maybe they would not want to wear their pants exposing their azzez.
No,I do not want additional laws but would like to see current ones enforced.
This is so ghetto looking, whether our are black or white, live in Detroit or in the Subs, have a little self respect for yourself and your neighbor, pull up your britches.

YES it should be illegal. It's not a fad like bell bottoms or [?]beetle boot's,neither one of them showed your azz. It's sickening to see the kids wearing pant's that they have to hold up so they can walk.My grandson started hanging out with some kids who wore them like that and I told him if he started wearing his that way I would kick his butt, he did'nt & has different friends. They look like punk thugs and I'm glad he no longer hangs out with them they just look like bad news.I don't understand why any self respecting girl would want a boyfriend who can't wear pants that fit.

I agree with RATT, We don't need more laws but parents that control their kids.

Tall,
streaking was a totally different thing, something done quick on a whim or dare. These kids walk around all day with their azz hanging. They should'nt be allowed to go to school like that either but I sometimes think teachers and leaders are afraid to say anything to kid's.

Kids were wearing their pants this way in the early 90s. Looked stupid then and it looks stupid now. And I agree it's called indecent exposure. Boy Rita, we sure seem to be on the same page. My son tried to sag his drawers (notice I said tried)and thank goodness he realized it wasn't gonna happen as long as I was buying his clothes.
I don't know about a law, but any business or public place should be allowed to escort these guys off the premises.
I can'g figure out why anyone would think this is cool.

Wayne Westland Schools have dress codes and I think thats why I don't see it much.

If you had to look at these slopply dressed kids everyday you would end up wanting to smack them, along with the pant's they all seem to have crappy attitudes.

The school I teach in has a dress code policy that outlaws "droopy drawers" (my words). I carry twine with me and any kid that comes to class looking like this gets twine to wear. Now I have to say, these "Jethro's" look just as riduculous. Most kids refuse to use the twine. When I send them down to the principals office, They get to return to class because the administrations will not support the policy. How dare we tell KIDS how to dress?
that would be against their 1st amendment rights of free expression????? WTF???
The parents are idiots, the people sagging are idiots and the peole that should be enforcing the rules and laws are idiots.

How about the "GOTHIC LOOK". Should that be banned also? You know the kids that dress in all black and talk about death all the time.

Ratt, I agree they are idiot's rules are made to be inforced, thats why there are so many problems with kid's they think and usually can do as they darn well please because people are afraid to say anything to them because this kid or his parent might beat you up or even shoot you. Heaven forbid, you might violate his civil rights. Seedub, With the goth look it is just black ,ugly clothes not bordering on indecent exposure like those with their pant's below their azz.Not all kids that dress goth talk about death but those that do need to be watched because they could be dangerous. There are kids that dress preppy that could also be dangerous to society, the "GOTHIC LOOK" is a look and does'nt make one obsessed with death.

I don't care for the Goth Look either. No it should not be banned. As Rita says, there are no rules being broken. Now when the goth look includes chains and pin and needles, yes, this should not be allowed in school. All black is fine. These kids are usually disturbed and need to be watched.
I don't want to see someones azz sticking out. I also send the girls out that have their "Whale tail" showing. (Thong sticking out above their azz crack).

Where does it stop? Today "sag" tomorrow "Goth" next week the "preppy" look. Just like with the nativity scene in front of city halls. Would you be willing to let other religions decorate for their holidays, at city hall? How about devil worshipers, wouldn't we have to let them set up something for their holidays? You have to watch what you ask for because you just may get it. Where does it stop? If a kid has his pants hanging so low that you can see his azz that is Indecent Exposure, but if you just see under wear it's just someone being a sloppy bastard! Teens will be teens! I just think it’s a slippery slope.

I don't see what the comparison is,it's like apples and oranges. A nativity scene and baggy pants that show an azz? Maybe half these kid's would'nt mind at all if the sloppy clothes were banned, because its probly half or more that wear them just to fit in. Kid's need to learn respect for laws, rules, other people and above all themselves.

There is no law against walking around with your finger in your nose either, and there shouldn't be.

If you want to look like an idiot so that no one will trust you and no one will employ you or for that matter all anyone will do is think that you are an idiot.

I'm back in business and the move went OK-Thanks Seedub!-As far as the school code is concerned, the droopy drawers should not be allowed at school; Therefore, a law dosen't need to be passed, just the schools & parents taking more affirmative action in regards to how their children look in school and in public.

There once was a bird who didn't fly south for the winter. One day when it got really cold the bird fell to the ground, and was well on his way to freezing to death. Then along came a cow, that crapped right on the bird warming him, therefore sparing his life. The bird got so happy he started to chirp. A cat over heard the chirping from the pile of dung, uncovered the bird, and promptly ate him. The moral of the story is that somebody who puts you in chit isn’t always your enemy, and a person who get's you out of chit isn't necessarily your friend.
