For once, a sentence that punishes the bad guy!  Yes, punishment...that's what I think some of these Hall of Shame guys need.  Not another chance to make good...not a tough probation...a good old jail sentence for a good old crook.

Many times, I've interviewed sad, hurt, financially strapped victims of scam artists.  Often, after I expose the bad guy's deeds in my Hall of Shame, they get arrested and convicted.  More often than not, I'm pretty disgusted with the light sentences they get.  Hey, I'm all for rehabilitation for someone who deserves it, but a lot of these people don't.

I'm happy to say, the Suit Doctor, a traveling salesman who schemed local business people out of their cash with the promise of great deals has been dished out a bit of tough justice.

Judge Colleen O'brien sentenced him to 11 months in the pokey for getting arrested for swindling people in Ohio while on probation here.  This guy wasn't even allowed to leave the state of Michigan, much less get busted in the Buckeye State!

My thanks to the judge and Oakland County prosecutor for a job well done.

See you next year, Suit Doctor!

Rob,

It's great to see a story have an ending that should be the reasonable consequences. I will give the Suit Doctor credit for one thing he talked to you rather than run and hide like most of the rest.

Rob, I respect the work that you do and think it is important to have people like you doing investigative work that the cops don't want to do. That said, I also think that you are WAY too obnoxious.
It should be just as illegal as some of the things your featured criminals are doing for you to LOITER outside their places of business, run up on them in a hostile manner, and shove a microphone in their face. I am waiting for the day that your hostile demeanor gets you knocked flat on your butt. If you run up on someone with a bellicose attitude, don't be surprised when you get it in return.

I just wanted to put that out there because I get irritated watching all of these investigative reporters with their confrontational attitudes. I get irritated when the media stands/loiters/trespasses outside someones house just to get a comment then practically crams a microphone down your throat. For instance, the au pair in Germany in the Steven Grant case. That poor woman couldn't even leave her house to get a gallon of milk because of all the journalists just hanging around outside her house as if they were the paparazzi. If I had been the chancellor of Germany, I would have told them "hey that crap may fly in America, but not here. When and if she wants to make a comment, she will, otherwise you will hear what she has to say when she goes to court." Running up with a microphone and invading someones personal space is an aggressive action and should be treated as such.

One of these days, you are going to see someone who just don't give a damn about anything, completely floor one of these reporters. The day that happens, I am going to laugh my butt off, because the media is just as bad as these criminals sometimes.
The media tresspass on people's property just to get a comment. When the person doesn't want to answer the door, the reporters are looking in the windows or hanging around outside. I'm not just talking about the "bad guys" here. I am talking about anyone who has any reason at all to be in the news, whether they are victim or perpatrator.
By the way, some of these people that are charged with a crime, may not have committed it. There is a such thing as "innocent until proven guilty" in this country. Before I get accused of defending the suit guy, let me just say that I am not defending him.

I am merely airing my grievances with the media, and since Rob Wolchek is the problem solver, maybe he can solve the problem of the overbearing media. The media that starts off almost every newscast with more bad news. The media that loves a good tragedy because it means better ratings, more special reports, and more revenue. The media that isn't reporting the real news about who really runs things in America. The media that only allows certain opinions on their "guest panels." The media that merely echoes the same drivel that is said on every news channel throughout America with no real difference of opinion, other than what the "media masters" deem to be appropriate.

Will you solve those problems Rob, or are you too busy chasing the common criminal to go after the corporate fat cats that are fleecing the citizenry of this nation?

Hey Rob! Great Job! Have you ever considered running for State's Attorney General or maybe county sherriff or county prosecutor? I think that you and the rest of the Problem Solvers team would be great and really cut down the crime in Michigan. The "system" really needs to throw the book at these characters! Thanks for looking out for the rest of us!

Rob,
I appreciate the work you and the problem solvers do for the community. Most people choose to live responsible lives, but if they don't, and it gets your attention, watch out bad guys!
I once wrote to you about the bowling league treasurer, who fleeced 128 other guys and me out of $48,000.00 of prize money. The problem solvers deferred to Lourdes to follow-up ... and she and her crew did a nice job interviewing the guy's wife, who told the camera her husband wasn't home to talk because he was at a Gamblers Anonymous meeting. I hope the former treasurer is getting the help he needs.
There will always be bad guys, but then there will be you and your crew to show us who they are so we can avoid them. Your tactics may be aggressive, but that's what the con artist understands. Yes, people are innocent until proven guilty, but if the alleged bad guy isn't guilty, he/she will be glad to talk with you. No defensiveness displayed on camera by an innocent person. I'm sure you do a lot of research before you go chasing someone.

Hey school, if a cameraman and some reporter with a microphone EVER came running up on me, even though I didn't do anything, I would be extremely defensive.
Even if it was my son that had just been killed in a hit and run, they better not come running up on me with a mic and camera to catch all of my tragedy on film for their news ratings.
These people who are criminals are products of the society that we live in. I would love to see Rob Wolchek run up on someone like Eli Roth the director for example, and shove a mic in his face and ask him why he continues to feek it is necessary to put out torture type movies that are nothing more than porn for sickos.

Why doesn't he run up on some Hollywood executives and ask them why they are continuing to influence the further degeneration of America with all of the garbage that they put out there. How about he run up on 50 Cent and ask him why he continues to glorify thug life thus influencing many young people to take up a life of crime?
