Boy... Can you believe it... IT IS AUGUST?!?!?! This summer is going by FAST. What have been the highlights of your summer so far????

Rich, slow down a little. Summer just started on 6-21-08. It ends on 9-21-08. There are still about seven weeks left of summer, aside from the kids going back to school soon.

I took a trip to Las Vegas and stumbled upon the Motor City Coney Island in the middle of the desert. Actually, it's located in downtown Henderson. Look for pictures and a future blog of mine showing-off a touch of Detroit in the Nevada desert.

Who is Rich Luterman... Does anybody care??? Things I like in no particular order (besides the obvious, wife/kids/mom/dad/weather
)... fresh air, airplanes, canoeing, U.S. history, Mt. Everest, an Amtrak train ride, a good football/baseball/hockey game, Michigan travel, good ice cream, Thanksgiving, Penn State, the Adirondacks, seafood, flannel sheets, Post Offices, M & M's, The Thumb, NASA history, Pittsburgh, used book stores, and drives in the country. My favorite motto... which comes from the movie Mr. Mom; "It's real easy to forget what's important... So DON'T!" My favorite movies; The Right Stuff, Chariots of Fire, Trading Places, Jaws, Sharkey's Machine, Victory, The Sand Pebbles, Shane, Patton, Apocalypse Now, Twelve O'Clock High.
