The Alibi in Troy, Mi is another good resturant to enjoy a family meal.  They serve excellent meals at good prices with excellent service personnel.  BonAPetit.

Love the TGI Fridays at the corner of M-59(Hall Road) and Schoenherr, Sterling Heights, Mi.  Great atmosphere, food and service (as for David or Ames).  They will take excellent care of you.

Thought for the day.  Where do we sell or use our world 17% oil production?  I'll bet the open market at market prices.  Duh, money talks and goodness to the public walks.  If we do start drilling for oil (and we should) how will it help reducing our current costs when it goes on line.  World market price is my bet.  I still looking for answers...so for my retired life style I am going to reduce my operating costs for oil, gas, electricity, food, etc any way I can.  How about you?

Thanks to Detroit Edison and their assisting electric partners.  I know you have a ways to go but, I laud your excellent efforts to bring everyone back into power.  I hope this storm opportunity serves as a "light on" warning to those that think this is the last storm.  Go out and stock up on esentials of food and water and by all means purchase a generator and learn how to use it.  This is a warning not to hookup directly to edison lines (it causes feed back problems).  Make your utilities ready for alternate power that you can power them with your generator.

As I just blogged directly to fox news, I have every sympathy for the folks suffering do to the storm of mother nature.  My challenge is to those folks dissing Detroit Edison for not being fast enough,  what are they doing to get food, water, and a generator to offset the time it takes for the electric company to bring back power to their homes.  I am a retired service planner/storm investigator specialist and have to speak on behalf of Detroit Edison's employes, that they are working their hearts out, tirelessly until everyone is restored.  In the meantime, get up, go get your food, water and a generator and reconvience yourself until power is back.  Go Detroit Edison and Co companies.

A great family resturant in Mt Clemens is the Royal Cafe on the Southbound side of Gratiot North of 16 Mile Road.  They offer a good variety of fresh cooked foods at a very reasonable price. See you there.
