"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; Indeed it's the only thing that ever has." Margaret Mead.
I agree with some of what is being said regarding the state of our system, but what some consider "garbage . . . " well, you know the rest. I do not judge any of God's creature's as being "vermin," and therefore not deserving of a fair chance in life. Had the coyote been attacking a person, well then it would have been shot. But this never happened. Why are we talking about what "would have happened" rather than what actually DID happen - NOTHING - the coyote bothered NO ONE. If, when released into the wild it dies from another, more natural cause, then so be it - the circle of life. But we are NOT GOD to say when this innocent animal who so MISTAKENLY wandered into the most dangerous places on the planet - Detroit City - should die. BTW what exactly have YOU done to help make this city, this country, this planet a BETTER place. It sounds like everything is "menial" to you.
Coyotes are "messengers." Perhaps this is a MESSEGE to the City of Detroit! A WAKE UP CALL! Listen to the messege. Do not kill the messenger! A wild animal shows up in our city - by wild, I mean it is used to living in a natural GOD-given habitat . . . not to be confused with the wild, careless people roaming our streets! Maybe the message is this: "Detroit, how do YOU define 'wild?' Maybe it is time to redefine what is acceptable behavior from the people of this city - including its leaders!
