I can't believe my eyes...

If I, as a civilian, use my vehicle to "mow" someone down, isn't that...attempted vehicular homicide???

So, why did DPD officers give a bird's eye view to citizens, courtesy of Fox 2, of attempting to run down Henry Ford High School students with cars and motorcycles?

Not only that, physically assaulting students who posed no threat.

WOW.

I know teens are a handful, and that there instances where extreme measures need to be taken, but come on!!!

Did you see the video? My God, what if one of the kids had been hit. Then what? Oh, yes, another beautiful shiner for the city of Detroit.

SIGH. If it ain't one thing it's another...

    So the police say this is "normal" crowd control procedures. Alright, then why is that a) DPD says they are "investigating" (which in DPD terminology means "somebody somewhere F'd up so before we make an official statement other than 'the officers APPEARED to follow basic procedures.'"

 RIGHT. You all can play the "they deserved it" card, but I'm standing my ground. This is my opinion, and no I'm NOT calling Sharpton, NAACP, or Jesse as some of you have pointed out. We can play the "race game" if you want, but I never mentioned race...

Though, it's apparent in this city, that the "race game" is really just the "Game of Life."

Our Detroit Pistons...MY Detroit Pistons (because I know we have traitors amongst our city who cheer other teams...BOO!!) have clinched and solidified their stance in the Eastern Conference as the playoffs begin this Saturday, April 19th!

First up, the Philly 76ers...

Some predict a sweep; others predict it may take us a few extra nights...

Regardless, Chauncey, Rip, Sheed, Aaron, Dyess, and newbie Herrmann will slam the 76ers into the Liberty Bell leavin' they're heads ringin' like Dr. Dre.

It's a wrap.

No offense, but the NBA playoffs ain't about "brotherly love"...

Work it, Bad Boys...

We got cha' back. Let's do the damn thang and bring the NBA Championship back to the city...God knows we need something to cheer about.

As I'm still reeling from the entire Cockrel vs. Conyers melee, and now, I'm listening to these oh so "BRILLIANT" political analysts flap they're gums on Frankie Darcell's show on 92.3...
(don't even get me started on the fact Conyers and Cockrel were on WJLB this morning...Monica really needs her "happy pills.")

My GOD will this drama, and swinging from Kwame's "trees" ever end????

What in the Helen of Troy is the problem?! These fools, and since THEY decided to refer to Ken Cockrel as "SHREK" ON THE AIR THIS AFTERNOON, I'm going to refer to them, Sam and Adolph, as Curly and Moe, or how about Frick and Frack? There's always, TweedleDee and Tweedle Dum...you get the picture.

I'm trying my damnest to digress but I CAN'T! These numb-nuts are live, literally dogging out Cockrel claiming "he wants to be mayor SOOOO bad" because he and the majority of COMPETENT members of Council have decided not to hear the mayors budget right now.

KENNETH COULD CARE LESS ABOUT BEING MAYOR OF THIS ASSINE AND LAUGHABLE CITY'S POLITICAL REALM. You couldn't pay me enough to run this city. Trust me, he don't want it, but unfortunately, his behind is next in line. From Coleman to Dennis, Freman to Kwame, every wannabe or has been mayor has been in the hot seat.

Coleman because of his radical views.

Dennis because he wasn't "hood" enough...my God the man was shall we say, NORMAL.

Freman was THEE best man for the job, but no, you idiots who voted against him wanted a YOUNG man...yeah okay, see what you got when you mix youth and power with ignorance which brings us back to...

Kwame. Y'all got the "hip hop" mayor who's done soooo much for the city. Does the good out way the bad? Sheesh

Ken...Ken, Ken, Ken...he's man enough to take the position, but not crazy enough to manipulate it.

Which brings me again, back to Thing 1 and Thing 2 on Frankie's show...

You two should climb Kwame's "trees" and swing from his "branches" together. This city is so biased. Does "Gangsta-Nificent" Kilpatrick have everyone eating from his tainted fruit?

Damn.

I can't even listen to the commentary on the radio because even the journalistic world is hyping up their friends in high places...

The bigger they are the harder they fall...wake me when Kwame goes to prison, okay?

Til then, I am SO happy I made the decision not to live or work in Detroit after many years, so nope, I didn't pay a damn thing for all this madness.

You can joke about the 'burbs all you want, but I love my city of Novi/Walled Lake...don't knock it til' you live it.

Please...stop the insane, ludicrous, undeniable child-like and unscrupulous behavior in the Detroit City Council. What the hell is going on???

Not only does Monica "Thugalicious" Conyers appear on television interviews (just to be seen) hair awry, like she simply rolled out of bed, but she constantly displays random acts of stupidity and mental duress.

I have to wonder, seriously, with this last round of attacks she leashed upon Council President Ken Cockrel in PUBLIC and on CAMERA...

Do city officials have to submit to random drug testing? I mean, seriously, Monica seems to display the signs of substance abuse. I know, I grew up around them...

I was OUTRAGED at her deplorable, unethical actions in a forum where she clearly shows she has no respect for authority, she's now in Kwame "Gangstanificent" Kilpatrick's pocket of staunch supporters who obviously have mental issues of their own.

I digress.

I do applaud Mr. Cockrel for maturely handling the barrage of attacks from both "Thugalicious" and "Gangstanificent" keeping his cool, and representing Detroit as the classy black man that he is. Thank God for some sense of sanity still left in Detroit's political forums.

As for Monica's hot-mess, get a hair sample, run the results, and in the words of Dwayne "THE ROCK" Johnson, "KNOW YOUR ROLE AND SHUT YOUR MOUTH!"

Look, ladies...lemme holla at you for a moment. I watched the spot on the news tonight which featured a fellow domestic abuse survivor, Ms. Bailey. That's right I said fellow, which means, been there done that.


Now, my instances weren't nearly as severe as Ms. Bailey's, or Danielle or Tara or the young lady from Brownstown who is still missing! But let me tell you, domestic abuse comes in all shapes and sizes, from emotional and verbal abuse directly to death.

It's no joke.

People often wondered why I stayed for so long...past the insults, past the "I hit you but I was just playing with you," past the infidelity, past the thrown fists and chairs into walls...even past the rape.

You never know...

I couldn't see past the "love" he had for me. On more than one occasion, in more than one relationship, I was as blind as those mice in Shrek, except, instead of bumping into doors, I kept running into hell.


Ladies, I know it's hard...you've been threatned if you leave, you're worried about how you'll make it without him because he's made you believe you are nothing and without him you will never BE nothing!

THAT IS NOT TRUE!!

Hear me when I say it's not you, it's them. And further more, facing truth and reality, it ain't gonna get better, it's gonna get worse. And you can't change him, only God can change his heart...but you know what?

If he doesn't want to change, God ain't gonna make him.

You have the strength God gave YOU. Use it...and GHETT OUT!!!
