Who knew ??? Thompson and Lieberman hit em out of the park tonite at the excel center in st. paul.... They were the headliners of the now revitalized RNC ... no storm news today, no new unplanned pregnancies as far as we know...so the full focus was on the speakers.. if you have a chance to catch any of em , you should.. one of the 8 trillion instant experts here ( actually a really smart one ) told me that if thompson had given a speech like that during his alleged presidential campaign maybe he wouldnt have crashed and burned so badly.... tmrw nite.. perhaps palin.. likely Rudy who gave a sound ck today in the that almost caused fainting and heart attacks among his loyalists.. and he only said ''one two three'.... more later

Fred Thompson and two face Liberman? LOL!!! The Republican party is pathetic if those dopes are the best they have to offer at their convention. I like this post I found on YouTube which is much better than FOX NEWS.: " John McCain abandoned his disfigured first wife for a new one worth over $100 million. McCain now has $40 million. All of this money was inherited. None of it was earned.

Hypocritically, he now attacks Obama, a self-made man, as 'elitist' and 'out of touch'.

I have nothing against John McCain. I think he's a great man and a true leader. But I disagree hugely on his proposed plans to bring about change.

For example: He wants to "Freeze non-defense, non-veterans discretionary spending for a year and use those savings for deficit reduction."

An issue I have here is what is considered discretionary? I am a college student and have felt the effects of decreased federal spending on education. How much more is going to be suspended until a positive change is made? While John McCain has provided much more info on his website about proposed policies than Obama, I still don't have precise answers from either.

By the way, I'm watching the RNC right now. Can someone also explain when the Democrats, more specifically Biden or Obama, ever questioned Palin's abilities because she's a mother? I've heard repeatedly that not only do they congradulate her on her success, but I've seen video clips of both Barack & Joe telling everyone to leave her family out of politics.

Yes, that's the Obama plan. First get rid of all those pesky poor people by locking them away in re-education camps. Then tax the remaining population and give them ten percent of their earnings back in poor quality goods at trumped up charges. Then nationalize energy and healthcare industries to drive them with the same efficiency that was demonstrated in the VA systems. Oh yes, it will be a bureacrats dream. Unfortunately, it will be a voter's nightmare.

.. been in LA since '83... aside from the traffic and an occassional earthquake it's awesome.. why wouldn't you want to live here ? I have a great job.. the people here are fun... I get to do what we call ''long form'' stories, investigations, half hour specials.. we can really get into some serious issues here... ( no not Britney). Someday i hope to meet Jillian. Later.
